​@@4everzapy My old Lenovo Ideapad 300 lasts 8 hours just browsing the web on Linux, it's half that on windows. It has an AMD ryzen 5 2500U which runs hot. So this XPS laptop should be able to hit 15-20 hours browsing the web.

I have an xps plus and besides claims I need the charger after 5 hours when I work on it productively and on standby the battery is always empty after one night. Even if the emulation isn't perfect yet, working for an entire day or being able to use a charged laptop is worth more.

Since it s an add, let me clarify the truth for you. At this point, most apps are not compatible with these laptops, from a video creator, 3D editor, casual browser and what s even worse it s the BIG LIE snapdragon promised “A battery that lasts longer than the MacBook air m3 and has an increased performance, for a 1000€ price” all of these 3 statements are lies, since the battery lasts less than the 18 hours, when the aps work, they almost never work better than the macbook, the processor is not more powerful and the price is way more than 1000€

DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 has a native Windows ARM version - and that version also supports the NPU of these machines. Photoshop and Lightroom also have native Windows ARM versions. Steinberg has announced an ARM version of Cubase. So - it's not as bad as you make it look. Personally, I couldn't care less for the battery life of any mache since I only hop from power outlet to power outlet. What I do care about is noise, though - and I give you that, this is where the fanless MacBook Air will definitely always win. But... It's an Apple, and that ecosystem is NOT for me, so it's a no go.

Bro what? The NPU isn’t the reason why the battery life is longer, and the fact that you said that makes you sound super dumb, it’s due to the fact they’re using ARM rather than x86 or x64

The NPU off loads a lot of tasks that the processor used to do so it prolongs battery life. Yes the processor is more efficient too but it’s the combination that makes the battery last alot longer.
