His short game must be godly to be a 10 handicap with that swing
@enzy64349 ай бұрын
Bad players always think that you need a flawless looking swing to be near a single digit handicap (no offense). Which is absolutely not the case. You just need a swing that is functional that you can make work. His contact was more than fine on his original swing to be a 10 hcp shooting low 80's, providing his short game wasn't terrible.

😂😂😂 you got me *He'll be scratch after this swing fix holy cow.
@okboomer123459 ай бұрын
@@enzy6434 I never said you need a flawless looking swing. He has a two way miss along with some early extension which results in thins/fats. With all of those factors considered it's unlikely for him to be a 10 handicap unless he has a better short game than a typical 10 handicap.

I call that setup problem the "Double Cross" and I have faught that problem for decades! You could also see that the ball impact immediately improved, because the path of the shoulders/arms and hands were no longer fighting with each other and the low point of the swing arc was in tact.

Never worked with alignment sticks and is a 10 handicap? Take away is good, but the rest? Must be great inside 100 yards. Lucky he gets to play Pebble!

Right? Idk what my handicap is my average score is an 87-92 and I’d say my swing looks a lot better than that. I know looks can be deceiving so who knows maybe he’d kick my butt

A 10 handicap typically shoots anywhere between an 82 and an 88 on a course with a par slope rating. Course management is much more important than how your swing looks.

There's no way that guy is a 10 with that swing. Imagine golf is like math and he's gotten the answer wrong. These guys just keep telling him that he got the answer wrong but not WHY he got it wrong. Basically, it's, "here's the answer and we can't tell you why." So now he's got a vague feeling of what he needs to do. He will not play well under pressure with just a "feeling."
