Man, I swear, as hot and moist as it is, I love MM for this. The amount of torment, pain and hate towards any living being who dares to enter this world of hot steaming garbage is so astonishing that you just can't not love it. Or at least respect it. It's because of the boo button lol. The garbage gets tucked away never to be played in Super Expert No Skip runs. I find this ironic and hilarious whenever Ryu wants to boo a stage while specifically playing Mario Maker for these kind of stages.

Levels like the first one in this video are for sure the most fun to watch imo. Watching you have to hunt for secrets and systematically break your way out of the level is just really entertaining, a lot more so than when you spend a lot of lives on a "good" level imo, as in like a highly technical level that eats up a bunch of lives as you get your inputs perfect.

That level was badly designed though and deserved a boo. Pick a door and having to find a random hidden block just feels unfair. Watching them feels fine because they are edited to only show when Ryu makes progress.

At that last level, where you go offscreen at the bottom, if you continue offscreen you could probably have reached the door there that leads to the right of the goal. The level creator probs didn't want to deal with their own drunk effect as well

I feel like this was a classic Ryu SMM run, the kind we used to see quite a lot before SMM2! We had a complete garbage troll level, a gimmick level and then a ridiculously challenging level and it really sums up why these vids are so fun to watch. Ryu takes every bit of trolling in the first stage with a smile while having the skills to finally get that super tough level nailed as well. Its so great seeing a top level player who isnt always stressing out and taking things super seriously!

I think there's a dev exit on that last level. There's a door after the goal and if you look at the bottom right of the screen near that last swimming up part there's also a door that you could probably enter by going under the cloud. But major claps to you for doing it the "intended" way.
