Larry, I always appreciate your candidness about anxiety and depression. I can tell you this much. Going off meds is the best thing I’ve ever done. When you do the research, you learn they’re no good. Period.

At 14 I became an adult--seriously! At 19 I tried to get away from all the chaos that was happening in our family, but couldn't. From what I can tell and have learned, if I'd moved out, joined the military, or went back packing in Europe, I think my brain would have repaired itself. As things went further downhill the overwhelming feeling that I was assuming too much responsibility in my life--and anxiety--gave way to depression. It wasn't until I was 35 and my doctor, quite by accident, prescribed the drug Paxil. It was very good for me. At 56 I tried getting off Paxil, and the old depression, slowly, came back. I realized that if I wanted to stay healthy, I was going to try and new medication--Wellbutrin. I'm now 62 and very grateful to be alive.

Wellbutrin is what I was on and it worked great when I needed it!! Even helped me to quit cigarettes!! Thanks for sharing!

We lost our big boy (yellow lab) in November and swore I didn't want to get another dog because he is greatly missed but dang Mason is making it where we would love a little buddy around. Enjoy your videos.

I love Mason. He is just darling and seems to be so gentle. I have a long haired chihuahua to and she has the same coloring as Mason. I had to really work on the stain around her eyes and I noticed Mason has staining to. I bathe my Bella in a whitening shampoo that I get at Petco. You can also use some little pads called angel eyes. It will take awhile to remove but we'll worth it. Now that Bella is stain free I just use a washcloth and wipe around her eyes. I'm sure Mason helps you with your depression and anxiety.

My brother has mental health issues. I wish he would come boondocking with me. The peace of the desert and simple living I think he would be heal. He is finally on medication to stabilize his moods. Pray he continues upward. He threatened suicide last year. Coincidentally, I was camping in Quartzsite. During one of our daily calls, coyotes could be heard in mountains. Alarmed, he said I was the crazy one to be in the desert outside at night. Told him I had better reception outside camp. He said, you would do that for me? I just cried and said " nothing would stop me to help you". ❤ Glad you are camping in beautiful Arizona. I lived in Sedona for 5 years. Explored the area. This looks like Mingus Mountain or Cocnino Forest meadows. Your liver dinnner reminded me of my mom's attempts to make us siblings have a cheap meat meal. We all smothered the liver in onions, bacon and ketchup. The liver would still be on the plate after the "one bite" rule. Enjoy sleepy Mason with his pup bed all cozies ❤up. After my daughter passed I got on a antidepressant. After months of other medical problems I figured out I was allergic to the antidepressant. 😖 it just goes to show you need to listen to your body and be your own advocate. I’m sure I’ll be ok without them now hat it is almost camping season and my grandson, Huckleberry, will be with me for the summer. Can’t wait to camp! You’re luck to be able to camp all year. Not so much in Montana. Be blessed!

I had to stop half way through your video to comment on what you said about getting off depression meds. I got off of mine about 5 years ago and realized how dull I had felt on them. I was really never very happy or very sad. They dulled my emotions so much and I didn't even realize it. Shortly after that, I had congestive heart failure and they put me on maint. meds for that. Again, I took them for a while and then, with no more episodes of CHF, I got off of them. The world reopened again! I'm happy, I'm sad, but not depressed. I can feel again! I think some of these meds only suppress our emotions so we don't think about them. I'm not against meds, I think they should be used more judiciously. My DIL is a pharmacy tech. She told me that one of the 3 meds I was on after CHF was only to counteract the side effects of the other 2! Anyway, glad to hear your explanation of anxiety . It makes sense.

We’re still watching but wanted to pop in and comment so I wouldn’t forget. I got off all psych meds 10 years ago and for me personally, it was an amazing life change for the positive. I agree, everyone has to do what is right for them. Sometimes for some of us (meaning more towards myself), my mental health issues are not from a chemical imbalance therefore meds just did more damage than good. I had to learn coping, new mindsets, new ways of adjusting and approaching. Anyway, thanks as always for sharing your experiences and journey. ~ Kristina

Hello we are new to your videos. We camp a lot, the less people the better. We are retired, what I like to do is make poor boy dinners. Then freeze them. Put. your meat on butter foil. cut up veggies tater, onion on your foil. Season it all. Seal it up, bake for 20minutes or on a grill. From Rhonda...

YAY IT'S TUESDAY Like your flags you've added Larry. Bummer about your drone. Nice little drive you took us on. Talk about winds. We had super high winds over the weekend here in Las Vegas with gusts up to 88 mph. Saturday's wind was just horrible, constant 40-45 mph winds and did not die down until Sunday but just a little. But Monday was a beautiful day as was today. My allergies act up when it's windy; eyes super watery, sometimes get swollen from all the gunk in the air that we actually cannot see. As always, nice to see you and Mason boy. Thanks for the video and have a safe and great time hanging with your friends!! :)

That’s a different kind of anxiety when you feel pressured but chronic anxiety with insomnia and loss of appetite is worse. I have that and chronic depression. I take meds and wouldn’t want to stop. I was hospitalized for over 2 weeks so don’t want to go back there.

I'd love to have a picture of that rock formation with the cactus, so amazing. I am heartsick about your drone! I'm sorry dear, I've seen similar happening with other KZbin folks. Sure wish there was some kind of insurance that one could carry. The footage though! 🌀 It's good you installed that whip, in some areas its a requirement- you can be seen by others coming over hills or around obstacles. I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to have a satellite device so you could make emergency calls, calls where there is no reception and you could be found in an emergency. Mason is a great little shotgun- he's down with wherever you go, never complains and always watches out for you when you're out of the vehicle. You're really getting your money's worth with that little Tracker, such a good little vehicle that will give you many miles of joy and adventure. You two are living your best life. Love the vids man!! Had anxiety my whole life, starting taking natures made magnesium glycinate from target. Pretty much completely gone now, and sleep is so much better. Most people are significantly deficient in magnesium, it’s been life changing. Glycinate version only, others did nothing for me.

Dude next time. Take out a lil bit of each veggie you want and leave in bowl on counter while your out walking or what ever. And at dinner time it will take 2 mins to boil water to cook them in making it easier on the power
