Becki, I haven't had a chance to test this myself but I do have two friends who've tried it and it worked for them both. Supposedly putting an ear plug in just one ear helps prevent motion sickness. Some say put it in same side ear as your dominant hand, others say it doesn't matter.

I usually bring cooked chicken for two days on any long flight in case we get stuck anywhere and then cross my fingers that the customs guys don’t give me a hard time over importing copious quantities of meat 😅 also, I already get super sick from landing in the mountains here in smaller commercial planes. No idea how you manage Becki!

I totally relate to the false positive. Had a bad #2 EGT probe, which would set off an alarm on the EFIS. Scary the first time, as you could imagine. Flew with it until the annual in July. I guess I’ve been lucky, never really got stuck AOG with any of the planes I’ve owned. Well, there was a Grumman Tiger I owned with a bad MAG while in Florida, but was fixed the same day. Loved this video, cant wait for the trip…
