Pricing $49.99/mo for 1ste 500 subs this is Sick high ($599/yr) or $129.99/mo $1,559/yr, billed yearly. Lightroom is even a lot cheaper.! even combi of more programs is 1/3 or less cost.! On1 Raw can do close to the same. :D or Luminar Neo.

This seems to have great potential for wedding and event photographers. For my purposes however, as a landscape photographer, I'll stick with LR. Nice review and thanks for sharing.

It seems that most people here don't like the pricing, but as someone who likely hasn't exported 1500 photos in 5 years of using lightroom, just the free trial would set me up for a long time 🤩 Thanks for making this video 😊

No thanks. My current issues with Adobe is that they only offer subscriptions, and that they are forcing an unscrupulous user agreement in order to train their AI of their pro users skill. So, if a company REALLY wants to take customers away from Adobe… I believe it’s those areas they should focus on.

Can you make use of a 2nd monitor with that app? I usually use my 2nd monitor for Lightroom's features Compare, Loup, Survey, etc. I tried Capture One and never found a way to do the same and Capture One "support" never were able to even provide a real answer regarding such feature ... (Which was a deal breaker... I ended up going back to Lightroom) . So, this new app is certainly interesting but will it have basic feature like the abovementioned ? 🤔

If you're looking for an editor that works from the cloud and has tbe ability to continue edits from an app, thats LR (cloud). The mobile app is synced to your web based desktop bersion and any changes show up in either place. Its been a very handy function thr past few years. I've edited entire galleries the past few years.

$50 a month to beta test? Also it being web-based only is a big red flag for me. These companies keep taking it for granted that you always have access to an internet connection. I travel often and find myself working in locations with slow or no internet. That said the AI editing using the reference images seem like a massive time saver.

Darktable is excellent -- it gives much more fine control than Lightroom, though there is a very steep learning curve. Best of all, it's free and open source. The only issue that I have had with Darktable is the horrible denoising. Lightroom's AI masking is excellent, though it's quite pricey for someone getting started in photography.

Adobe's licensing is a massive problem right now. While the price for this isn't attractive the ability to use it on Linux is. I'm curious if this leverages WASM or if there is some other secret sauce at play. Curious that only Chrome is supported.

I don't know if I'm a bit late to the party but this all seems a bit weird. I really dislike the overuse of the phrase "AI" in everything, especially when it's not. What this program is doing - adjusting exposure, color correction, etc. - looks like just a lot of advanced histogram matching. Even the rectification of the images (the rotational alignment) can be done algorithmically - and it should be. Using AI for things like this is unnecessary, a bit overkill and just a label to oversell your product, in my opinion. I'm sure there could be some machine learning features in there that actually have a place but even then it is blatantly overpriced...

If you shoot and process one wedding a week with a typical USA price like $5000+ per wedding, and this software allows you shoot 5 weddings a month instead of 4, it is worth $1500/year easily, as you will add $5000 to your income in the first month. And it is about, say, $50000 a year before taxes, yearly subscription is 3% of additional (not total!) income. They could bill you literally four times more and it will be a very good deal. If you are professional it is as simple as that. If you are an amateur or hobbyist, then this tool is not for you.
