Feldrake has a neat synergy with swapping a minion into the shop snd making a random card golden. Fewer buys required.

could someone break down what's going on during the tavern section @ 8:10? a whole lot of high APM plays with a bunch of trades happening that I just can't track.

He buys Overconfidence + Coin + Drakkari + Glowing Naga (which doubles, due to his HP); Then he buys Tavern Spell 'Discover a T1 minion', plays+sells the picky eater, rerolls, notices that Gem Confiscation will transfer the stats from his (stolen) Moon Bacon Jazzer to his Naga, so he does that. Rest is just playing out minions.

I’ve been playing BG since release and no matter how many videos I watch, no matter how many streamers I watch, no matter how good I think I’m doing… I CONSTANTLY lose. I have never made it past 7k mmr and while I occasionally get the 1st place win, I’m usually end up getting 4,5 or 6.

I find that 7.5k is my peak, but that’s because I tend to force builds early and I am only comfortable playing a handful of tribes. It definitely takes a lot more time and learned skill to get over the 7-8k threshold

I think the best video was jeefs one where he talks about enablers and commit points for builds. Helped me not over commit to builds

Yeah my big issue is I hard commit. Same with tft. I just don’t understand pivoting. Or Econ. Like I’ll try and either not power up enough. Not have enough econ, or just straight fall flat on my face. All of my wins are from just others falling flat first lol.
