I wish LogOx success with this splitter. Things to consider, the Eastonmade Ultra is $1500 less. The Wolfe Ridge 17RS is $700 less. The 22RS is the same price. The Split Fire 1165V, is aimed at high volume home owners or light commercial producers and costs considerably less. Time will tell how the market receives this new splitter offering.

B YOU ARE 100% SPOT ON. Something aimed at being for the homeowner definitely missed their mark at pricing.Totally agree, way off the mark on that one. It's like they forgot who they were trying to sell it to. Pricing it that high makes it unattainable for most regular people. They'll have to rethink that strategy if they want to see any actual sales. Someone needs a reality check over there.

Hello Danh, that's a nice little machine, there's only one problem. After 50 years of cutting and splitting firewood I have discovered the weak link in the process. It's your back! Trust me, it wears out. Anyone that splits firewood with any splitter needs to have some way to lift the rounds onto the nest, other than lifting them manually. My Eastonmade 12_22, for instance, does a great job of doing that. After looking at everything I could find on the market. I chose the Eastonmade 12-22. Nothing short of fantastic! Shalom/gw. PS. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.

@Back40Firewood great overview video of the TimberOX Summit! It's incredible to think that this project started with you, us, Timberwolf, Ohio Wood Burner, Stoney Ridge Farmer, and GP Outdoors sitting around a digital whiteboard over a year ago, discussing what frustrated us about typical log splitters and the features we wished existed. We went from ideation to developing a design, actually building it, and bringing it to market. We really appreciate everything you’ve contributed to this project Dan! 🇺🇸🪵🐂 #TeamLogOX

Nice but that log lifter should be part of the purchase seeing how it doesn't have vertical position. Not so sure about every log you split twisting to the side when it was splitting, maybe that's just bad cut wood but if not that will damage the cylinder over time, or break the wedge off. I'd say cool prototype that could use some refinement.

Great machine but IMO they’re going to have to concede on price a little more. After a $295 4-way wedge and (overpriced) $150 tongue jack you’re at $6,895. Too many great commercial splitters within a thousand bucks of that to pull the trigger on this. No log lift. Small wheels/tires. Which is totally fine for a machine around 3500-4200 IMO. 7 grand? Hmmm not sure. That price range I’m thinking Eastonmade ultra, Wolfe ridge 17RS etc personally

In my area of the country you’d have to burn 35 cord of hardwood just to pay back the investment in the splitter, then add all the wood cutting and hauling or equipment if you have a woodland property. Jury’s out on this. Few pros, cons, and fabrication I’d done different… Pros- compact yet when setup large work table. Cons- no lift, $$ Mods- 1) flip/flop wedge and push block. I see no reason to keep “chasing” the wood especially with the large table sides. Install stripper plates if need be to knock off hung up wood. 2) single side operation. I’ve said this before, the valve lever is gonna get bent/broke having it in the same plane as the split chamber.
My first thought is look like it would be hard to put gas in it is it?
