I remember when Naruto first started airing in Japan and I had to download Torrents to watch them. When episode 1 came out I started watching it a my first impression was that I would finish this one but not bother downloading any more. Back then it would take 30-60 to download a 20min episode, so picking what you wanted to watch was important. After the 4th week I remember that I could not wait for the next Wednesday to roll around so I could download the next ep and that I was so hooked. At that time nobody I Knew was into Anime, and nobody could understand why I was watching kids shows, shit still bugs me.

Ngl I love how the reanimation made Sasuke even prettier somehow, in almost a feminine way. Sasuke was already drawn to be the most handsome character, like no matter your personal preference, Sasuke was intended to be the prettiest, but in the animation, his Shipuuden look is just breathtaking. I always loved Sasuke's design, it was the reason 9 year old me liked him so much (back when I obviously couldn't apreciate how tragic his story is).

The Naruto Manga is much more gruesome than the show due to the TV rating it recieved, though it has relaxed some since then. Also, something I've noticed is the lack of this studio animating for Boruto, and now on the 20th anniversary they drop this? They genuinely may have been spending that time working on a Naruto Kai type show. It appears to be split into three sections, according to the posters they released on their website. Those being Naruto pt. 1, all of Shippūden up to the start of the war arc, and then the war arc and after. I don't want to say it's confirmed, but it may happen. I'd gladly pay money to see that, they have incredible animation and have done some astonishing work over the course of Naruto/Boruto

For instance, the first few arcs had quite a few animated Pierrott episodes that weren't necessarily important, but as of recent even an important episode hadn't been done by them. Seemed to me that they wete taking their time with this project

First few story arcs are academy days, kakashi initiation and land of waves mission. You couldn’t add chunin exams because that would be it’s own movie. Plus, chunin exams goes right into Konoha crush, which is its own thing as well. I just don’t see a movie being able to happen.

@@raulcortez1099 Don't get wrong, I do believe more people should have died in the war. But neji's death just felt so random and unnecessary. He was barely relevant to the story for most of shippuden, and he just randomly dies as a way for naruto and hinata's relationship to develop. But even then his death was completely useless, cos their relationship didn't actually start developing until the last movie's timeline💀 Sorry for the rant, I just had to clarify why I think his death was stupid😂. It's not meant to send u any shade or anything like that

I've watched this once on my own, once with a friend, and several reaction videos to it. I have cried every time. If i had the money, i would gladly pay whatever it would take for them to reanimate this whole series, minus the filler. (Personally didn't mind the filler so much, being such a fan i wanted anything i could get Naruto related. But the filler did take up a lot more than it should have. )

8:32 that's how it was in the manga, don't know why it wasn't the same in the anime. A few other scenes that's been altered as well are like, when Naruto stabs his own hand, it actually goes all the way through, both when he's poisoned in the start of the Zabusa ark when they are attacked by roadside-bandits, and when he let Kabuto stab him when doing his first Rasengan after meeting Tsunade. Kakashi also stabs Haku straight through his body, almost hitting Zabusa standing behing Haku. He has to use force to get his hand loose. Neji gets fucked a bit harder vs the Spider Arrow-dude. Stuff like that. Naruto Kai 100% true to the manga in 2023 animation would be the absolute dream anime.

boruto pacing isnt slow. the anime is, the manga not. due to the fact that there is only every month one new boruto chapter we have many ass filler episodes. we have 73 manga chapters but 270 episodes. one piece for example has 1061 manga chapters and 1035 episodes. you can say the RELEASE of the chapters are slow, but not the PACING of boruto.

Boruto is very similarly animated however, they have had 3 arcs back to back that have been more souly focused on character building than strength and adaptability in fights so we haven't seen so much clean taijutsu, dojutsu, ninjutsu, kenjutsu animation in the recent anime, but I'd say the isshiki vs baryon mode naruto, kawaki, sasuke and boruto looked as close to this type of animation
