To a degree. I honestly don't think the movies/shows they've been putting out have been outright terrible. But it's hard to go back to square one which is what Phase 4 was, in that they have to go back and rebuild; reintroduce the former supporting players and have them become more focal, as well as introducing completely new heroes as well. Can't speak for everyone but for me, Phase 4's quality is very comparable to 1 & 2. There's some revisionist history that EVERY movie Marvel put out was a banger, and that simply wasn't the case. It's just that when we get to the highs that were Phase 3 and specifically Infinity War and Endgame, and we have to now scale back and concentrate on stories that simply don't have as much agency, and build up again, it's hard for a lot of people to keep invested... especially when there's SO MUCH more content now. Phases 1 to 3, we maybe get 3 movies a year. Now, since 2021, if we include the TV shows, we've gotten *19* projects. That's a lot to keep up with, and it's clear that with these projects, Marvel has been more experimental in how they tell stories, and who they tell them about, and what target audiences to hit. A huge criticism that the Infinity Saga had from general audiences was that they didn't want to have to "keep up" to enjoy a particular movie. Now, the complaint is that none of the projects seem connected (despite small hints here and there). So which one is it? It's not conventional the way it was before. This is kind of the unfortunate side of the success they built. People want the big crossovers right away, and yet they still want to tell smaller, self-contained stories. It's a tough line to manage, admittedly. Some just work better than others.

It's a buddy buddy cop movie. The chaotic, wild, play by her own rules veteran, the by the book officer professional with a grudge, and the young rookie cop on her first day. Intergalactic is just a perfect song for this. Three members of Beastie boys, three Marvels. Also first line of "Intergalactic" Don't you tell me to smile!

Episodes 3-5 of Hawkeye are fantastic. Good action sequences, Clint gets to address his survivor's guilt, and Kate and (blank) establish a crackling chemistry I cannot wait to see more of. She-Hulk seemed to me to be just more Marvel content and less story driven but it has some real strong moments. I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on Madisynn.

@@ghostmkc4045 I'll go beyond that. Every show has issues. Marvel is just held to a higher standard. If it isn't perfect, people claim it's the worst thing in the world, but don't hold other shows to the same standard. Same with the movies. But all of their content has been consistently good, even if not to everyone's taste.

I hope they keep the fact that Carol and Monica have issues with each other from WandaVision. Then it can be essentially a mother and daughter rebuilding their relationship by taking care of a sweet kid. I still say Carol was essentially co-parenting with Maria before she was taken by the Kree. Family action comedy gold at the heart of the story right there.

Yeah, I really enjoyed the trailer, it looks like a fun time. The quality looks a little low surprisingly not sure if they still need some editing and re-shoots. But yeah Im hoping this film is great character development for Carol and Monica. Kamala is a gem and I cant wait to see more of her. Hopefully, they establish her powers and origins better instead of jus labeling her a mutant.

What a delightful teaser; the MCU meets _Freaky Friday._ Prior to this I didn't have much interest (didn't like Cpt. Marvel, didn't watch Ms. Marvel), but Iman Vellani's upbeat energy is charming. I'm off to Disney+ to see her show.

I don’t feel “Marvel fatigue” is actually all that common…I feel like BAD WRITING AND DIRECTING FATIGUE is the TRUE ISSUE. For me personally I’ve only really enjoyed WandaVision, Werewolf By Night, and Shang Chi…and I liked parts of No Way Home, Wakanda Forever, Loki, MoonKnight and I enjoyed the addition of Yelena, Kamala, Kate Bishop, and She-Hulk though I absolutely hated that show because there was zero plot and it didn’t know what it wanted to be PLUS ontop of that the ended the show with a silly joke twist reveal that basically spat in the faces of MCU fans making everything that happened before, during, and after She-Hulk no longer matters because it’s just AI generated scenarios to make Disney money in an alternate universe. But overall I’ve been disappointed by recent MCU releases. I began to feel a bit jaded when they made Thor Mister Mom and 5% of the jokes landed in Love in Thunder.

Monica's going by her mum Maria's call sign of Photon in the movie/MCU to tie in with the recent comics as confirmed by director Nia Da Costa. Looking forward to British actress Zawe Ashton with the hammer as the villain (engaged to Tom Hiddleston & have a kid together)! Re some of the fandom needing something to fully pull them back in and stop whining about Phase 4, no one project on its own will do that as it's gonna take consecutive hits from Secret Invasion to Loki S2 to The Marvels to Cap 4 to ThunderBolts for that to happen unfortunately! Them pushing stuff back and allowing more time on these projects is the way to go but think that if they hit it out of the park next year with all 4 movies; Cap 4, ThunderBolts, Blade & Deadpool 3 and release no more than 2 D+ shows again next year (probably Echo & Ironheart), then they can get everyone back!

Hah, it's never ending! This is just part of it. I had to move a bunch of stuff down to my synth room to make room in these cases. I'm lucky enough to have a spot to store everything for now. Even with moving my comic collection to a storage space, my 3 bedroom apartment can barely handle my record and tape collection let alone all my synths, magic cards and Batman memorabilia. Add on Morgan's expanding mannequin and doll collections and we're running out of space fast!

Did you ever get a chance to see the deleted scenes from Captain Marvel? I think the movie was flawed for sure, but shot itself in the foot leaving some scenes that at least connected stuff together out. From her work on Community, I always thought Brie Larson had more comedic chops than she got to flex in the MCU thus far. This movie seems to be unleashing it.

For me personally I think this looks fun. But I feel like Brie Larson has been dicked over by horrible writing and directors who didn’t know how to handle the character or an Oscar winning actor. So to have a Captain Marvel sequel trailer where Captain Marvel is barely even in the trailer. And the main character seems to be Monica with Kamala being the comedic relief…plus to have the big battle in the trailer take place in a boring plain black room. All of that just feels weird to me. If any of these characters need help winning over the fans and have the character be revamped it is Captain Marvel. So to have her just shoved into her own movie as a after thought is kind of questionable decision making.

limit all of them cause they cant use their powers or they will switch aka SAVE MONEY. but also: in the comics, the og captain marvel would switch with rick jones (who isnt in these movies cause mcu SUCKS). kinda like billy batson and captain marvel but different. rick jones would bang his bracelets together, go to a different dimension, and captain marvel would take his place. but they could speak to each other telepathically. they are doing an homage to that character with this switching
