Your not the only one. I got an evo during the black friday sales and had one day where i caught like 10 fish on it back in early april. Craziness! Immediately Bought a jackhammer and diezel minnow in every color... Nothing since. Im not giving up on it tho.

It wasn't until this year that I finally caught a Bass on it. Now I've caught a good helping of them. I hated the chatterbait until this year when it finally started to produce. I really like it now. The minute you POP it through grass they strike

hey guys love the vid, i have been looking at more and more BFS brands and baits and there are some that i have fallen in love with but have not seen on the channel, lunkerhunt makes a very nice BFS frog, and Damiki has tons of nice BFS hard baits. Just wanted to share what was working for me, maybe you will like them too.

What gear ratio are you using on the reels? I was reading slower ratios like 6:8:1 is ideal? what do you guys think when it comes to the Chatterbaits? I love throwing them on the spinning setup with a 6:2:1

We prefer a 7:3.1 up to an 8:3.1 Feels easier to get them chatting and control speed

To me the evo chatters as good as the jackhammer and havent had a issue with any start up or continuous running. Maybe some dont work as well as others?? All i have are white and green pumpkin so far.

I've used several and beat the tar out of this bluegill one. No issues

​@@aaanglers nice. I was thinking that maybe some with the painted and glittered blades may have some start issues or continuous running issues when new if paint got a little in the blade hole. But after some use they should run great. I honestly think it's a great cheaper replacement for a jackhammer. Not a fan of that jackhammer price 😂

Ok, as a Michigander I gotta ask, what lakes are you in or what part of the state? I feel like I just asked a woman her age and weight🤢🤦🏻‍♂️. I do most of my fishing up north in st helen and the lake is nowhere near ready to fish up there.
