I've tried red gummy worms, split and flattened the back just like crawdad and works perfectly fine. Perch can't resist the flavor.😂

The problem I have with the lucky craft is the casting distance , why can’t we create a lucky craft that is much heavier in order to cast out farther and have more chances on retrieve to get something? For me it’s hard to throw something covering a small area even if it’s effective I would rather have long distance as well
@CJSpangler316Ай бұрын
Yeh I agree - they just don’t weigh enough as is. I know rapala x-rap has the long cast version . They need to just copy that idea. I got a 9 ft rod and launch the xraps with it. The lucky craft if it’s windy forget about casting it
@Fedsmoker-rebornАй бұрын
@@CJSpangler316 I’m thinking even heavier than that. Just not sure how the buoyancy and all the physics would go. I’ve been using a 50g xrap and even on the beach I’m having trouble with a 10 foot Japanese plug rod
@CJSpangler316Ай бұрын
@@Fedsmoker-reborn true yeh 50 g is a little light . I got off Amazon metal jigs that are 40 g and them being a little smaller helps them go . I did order from Temu a few 7 inch 100 g top water lures to test out on the NJ strippers - they won’t be at my house until like end of the month tho . I’ll have to see if those are worth the bargin or if they get beat up to quick to make it viable .
