not dumb at all! start your run with the keepsake from poseidon equipped and you become EXTREMELY likely to see him! the hammers on the other hand are super rare and just RNG lol

hilariously, this build has an incidental upside too. if you're ever below 50% HP, just spam-cast your Omega Special into a wall until you're at 50% HP again.

Also very well works with Zeus special + Hestia attack and their Duo boon 2 status effects (blitz from special and scorch from duo) means also works priviledge status (+50% for all damage) And Zeus boon for lightnings by prime mqgick

If you use the sister blades with the hook knife and projectile upgrade (the one that fires 16 around you) it does INSANE single target dps. It does even more depending on how large the hitbox of the enemy is. Im talking bursts upwards of 1000 to 2000 depending on your boons. It makes no sense. You can spam it too so its just insane.

yeah this is my favorite build in the game right now. if you can get crit with Artemis or the guaranteed crit off of using your hex upgrade in the path of stars you can one shot everything

@@pixel6913 Aspect is Pan, I assume "hook knife" refers to the shape of the blades so you get the weapon right but it could be the hammer upgrade that makes the knifes go back and forth.

@@wisteriapetals Aspect of Pan makes the upgrade that fire projectiles around you a lot more reliable too. If you use a boon that allows to throw the glyph cast, you can deal significant damage without getting close

I beat Chronos today with a Lim and Oros build with the Pan aspect. The one that when you cast your circle and throw daggers, they are redirected to the enemies on the circle. That and Hestia's boons, and oh boy, that's a lot of damage

Decided to try the build got supper lucky got hammer on spawn and posideon boon cause i had his keepsake on rerolled for splash. Build was insane zeus bounce effect came in handy too felt like a god ngl

I got this earlier today with a lvl.5 heroic Aphrodite on my special. +360% damage, and the game has a surprisingly lenient definition of "nearby".

You should absolutely take the slip. It allows use to inflict an extra curse, which triggers the +50% damage arcana. That thing is crazy powerful.

Has anyone tried a skull build with the duo boon from hephaestus / Hera. It requires no boons on your special and attack, but in return you get a +200% damage on both. I was able to curb stomp everything with ease and I didn't even get the +2 upgrade to your skulls

Me and my Brother love the Apollo Cast + Zeus duo boon with the Cast Axe Aspect - the +30 cost Duo boon works of a Axe special charge as well so instead of costing 45 (and double charge time) it only costs 25 (Axe charged special). Nice bonus is to get Hepfestus Special for 400 Bursts every now and then. Use Apollo Trinket 1st then Zeus to try and get 2 Epic + boons of your Choice.

Only con with this build is it's not advisable for people with epilepsy. Zeus works great as well.

so the reason you need to go Poseidon waves is bc it also add flat on-hit damage. So its not just a knock back behind it that does that damage, its every single special used.

You're leaving a lot of damage on the table. Your first attack should be an omega. Get that 30% buff from arcana. And always keep using your cast. Get that cast damage bonus going. Posidon special + hestia's cast + slip + posi hest duo is absolutely busted. Getting that Hestia cast gets the two curse effect thing going. Also get demeter's sprint for just another way to throw a debuff onto an enemy. This build melted Kronos in about 20 seconds

Ha. I had made the same exact build right before seeing this video. It truly is ridiculous. I still think aspect of Pan has more burst potential but this is a nice easy to play safe build that doesnt need to use magic. just spam special. I also got an epic support fire from arty and it was fun seeing the amount of arrows spamming out.

I have aspect of Momus but can't upgrade it yet (working on it). Do you still recommend this aspect over a fully upgraded Melinoe for special builds? I guess so since you are only using special so even the little bit of extra power is more valuable than Melinoe's aspect, right?

Not really, but you're guaranteed 1 for surface, and 2-3 for underground. Icarus gives you a random one for 10 encounters

My favorite build uses the umbral flame and needs the Hestia boon that makes your special deal scorch. Just spamming the special and getting a bunch of flame orbs surrounding me is just fun
