One day I heard God in a loud voice tell me to take certain items out of my apartment and throw them in the trash. I grabbed everything He told me offended Him. When I got to the dumpster I found a large box full of bibles and Christian books laying beside the bin. I put the garbage in the bin and took the box back to my apartment and started reading. I got baptised two years later and just yesterday my sister asked me to baptise her! We are going to do it! Praise Jesus! ✝️

This kind of stuff happens all the time in my life, The LORD is Amazing! One Friday evening, I came home late from work and my wife had a bad toothache. By the next morning, it turned into an abscess and her entire face was severely swollen. I was scrambling on a Saturday morning to find an emergency dentist with no luck. My Hebrew teacher, who lives in Jerusalem, sent me a message asking if we could postpone our lesson for later that day. I told her it was no problem and mentioned what I was dealing with. Five minutes later, a dentist called me from another state and literally spent hours consulting with us and got my wife a ton of medication that she desperately needed. This dentist said that she was a friend of my Hebrew teacher and that she had reached out to her by a text message. God literally sent us help from Jerusalem that day. God is Good All Of The Time and Jesus is The King of Kings! Much Love and Blessings Always!

That’s right. I grew up in a Christian home but never knew Jesus personally. When I got to High School, I got into drugs, alcohol, women, partying, etc. and I rejected Jesus and the church. While I was lost, I had many friends and family members praying for me. During these years, I dealt with a daily battle of suicidal thoughts and addictions and I had tormenting demons. I kept quiet about them but I just manned up and dealt with the suffering. Fast forward years later, my friend that introduced me to sin got killed in a motorcycle wreck, he died at only 21 years old. The next day, I found out and cried out to God with all my heart and I had a real encounter with the Holy Spirit. He was all loving and he uplifted my soul. I picked 1 up and it read: "In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free" -Psalms 118:5 13yrs later I still carry that card in my wallet. @@nicolausthothmes2325 where?
@Rosepetal21217 ай бұрын
@nicolausthothmes2325 Really? Where? The Bible is divided into two different sections, the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. The Old, was all about following very strict Hebrew laws with blessings and punishments attached to whether people obeyed or not. But the New Covenant is about Jesus Christ coming to earth and FULFILLING the law completely and perfectly, because He knew none of us could do it! But He didn't fulfill the law to say haha on you, you couldn't do it! But He fulfilled it all because God wanted Him to, and God wanted Him to, because despite all of us sinning and falling short of the Glory of God, God wanted to make a way to reconcile us back to Himself because He's actually a GOOD GOD. Now In the Old Testament, yes, he did bless some people and punish some people, but it was because they wanted to be punished shocking. I know it is, but whenever God delivered. Moses and the israelites out of Egypt. They went to this mountain called Mount Sinai, and God wanted to have a relationship with the people. God told Moses, he said Moses. Go tell the people to come up Mount Sinai with you. That way, I can talk to all of you guys. And have a relationship with all of you guys. But then whenever Moses told the people what God said, they said no Moses. Only you go up to the mountain. And the people were prideful and they literally told God go ahead. Make up laws make up rules for us to follow them. And we're pretty much pretty good people. So we'll follow them perfectly, but you know what if we happen to break a law. Then you can have a punishment and then God said really. Are you sure you want this? You really want me to punish you if you break a law? And they said yes, we can do it. We can follow your law and God said OK. And right, after that, God said, everybody has to get away from this mountain, and nobody can touch this mountain because if you touch it, then you will surely die so boom right whenever the people wanted there to be punishments, there was punishments, but that wasn't what God originally wanted. What he wanted was for all the people to come up to the mountain and he could talk to them and be like a father to them, and they could be like his children. But obviously this law keeping rule didn't work out, because generation, after generation, people kept trying to keep the law but they kept failing and it just broke God's heart like man. I really don't want to punish them, but like there has to be some sort of repercussion. Otherwise people will do really bad things. And nothing will be done about it. No Justice will happen. But praise the Lord for the new covenant. It says in the book of Hebrews in the Bible that the new covenant was built upon better promises than the old covenant. Was that in the new covenant since she was? Christ died on the cross and he paid for all of our sins that you know, it says in John 3:16 That, for God to love the world that he gave is one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. And then the next verse carries on to say. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved (from sin, from following all these strict laws) through God's son, Jesus through what Jesus has done for us on the cross. And believing in what he has done and receiving his forgiveness amen? Don't let something kinda confusing in the Bible make you completely stop wanting to read it anymore or stop loving God anymore, you know? The Bible can Be hard to understand sometimes because it wasn't written just by humans. But it was by written by people that actually heard from God and they wrote down what they heard God say to them. They wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is actually inspired by God. So that's why the Bible can be hard to understand sometimes because how God talks sometimes it's different than how we talk. Like how Australians talk is different than how Americans talk, and yet they both are speaking English, you know? But God is so good that he sent the Holy Spirit to be our teacher and to help us understand what the Bible means. It really is possible to understand what the Bible means. Because the Holy Spirit was the one that helped inspire the Bible. So of course he knows what it means because he's the author of the Bible!

This one night I was really angry at God, thinking to myself how could He allow so much suffering? I’m ashamed to say I was cursing and yelling at Him, I let it all out. At 3am I got so tired and I was so angry I told myself that I was going to say one last prayer to God. I prayed that He would help me not hate Him. The very next day, one of my neighbors put out a box of books in their front yard with a sticky note that said “Free”. Me being a broke college student I saw this as an excellent opportunity to grow for free, and so I went and looked at the books, lo and behold, there was a book called Suffering and the Sovereignty of God. Not to completely rain on your parade, but I have to here: Babies are intended to come into existence in a woman’s body during an intimate act of love between their parents, not in a petri dish. IVF is deeply tragic, because many embryos (living human beings) are created through it, and then either disposed immediately like trash after selecting those that you want implanted, or stuck in a freezer for decades (to eventually be disposed of like trash as well). Please put your hypothetical potential future children ahead of yourself and your desire to be a mother, by not having those eggs fertilized. That is not the way. Let them be where they are, and you may still have a miracle of conception, no matter what age or condition you’re in, or an equally great miracle of adoption may be in your future. Please consider those instead.

I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly… I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling. He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car. The Lord had been urging me to read the Bible. Like the most random times I would hear "read the Bible". Yea, not happening. I hit my 30s and life went down hill fast, crippling anxiety, depression etc.. Fast forward to a few years ago, I was at the bottom. Feeling miserable and scared that someday....I would desire to end. My new neighbor was a strong Christian, and had talked to me a bit about her church. I had attended a few times, and that was the last place I wanted to be. One day I was on my way home and had the overwhelming feeling that I NEEDED to talk to my neighbor. Nothing was going to stop me. So when I got home, I high-tailed it over there. We chit-chatted, and she started talking about the Bible. She read it and said how life changing it was for her. So I asked her how does one start? It's big and scary and totally confusing.(My exact words) She told me to pray for help to get started. So on my walk back home I did. 'dear God, if you really exist and are the one telling me to read the Bible...I need help.' The following day was Sunday, and I stayed home wallowing in my depression convinced there is no help for me and I was on a path to hell (I was). Monday came around..my spouse usually gets the mail, but something prompted me to get it that day. I found inside daily scripture devotion addressed to me. It was called Encounter With God. I fell to my knees right there and wept. I repented and gave myself to Christ. At the time I didn't know whom had sent it, but later found out it was my dad. I asked him why and when. He said he felt I needed it, and signed me up the month before. I best part was that before I even asked God was ready for me. The subscription was already in the mail. There are NO such things and coincidences. Psalm 34:4 'I sought the Lord and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.' I am a firm believer in Jesus. He is my Savior. He gave himself for me, and through him I am redeemed! Oh, I am 11 books away from reading the whole Bible!! To the person that made it this far, I pray that you seek HIM. He isn't hiding, but merely waiting. God bless.

I have that book! It was a free gift to me as well. GOD is real. He sent me to corner store to buy a coin for a guy who was going through a terrible divorce. I kept walking around looking for a snack for lunch when I saw a coin with scripture inscribed on it. Something told me to buy the coin. In the lunch room I'm showing off the coin and the guy really likes it. I offer to buy him one, then that same voice says to give it too him. I do so and he breaks down in tears. The coin had his favorite verse on it. The crazy thing is, every want I had for that coin faded away once I gave it him. I was never meant to have the coin. I was meant to deliver it. He was contemplating suicide and the coin was GOD telling him that he was there and listening.

I met a man on Tinder of all places, and the "coincidences" were at every turn. We both play acoustic guitar and sing. We have identical motorcycle helmets. Our motorcycles are the same make and model, just different engine sizes. I saw a photo of him on his motorcycle with my name graffitied in the background. We have the same allergies. We both have a white husky. And that's just to name a few! And guess what? The house he had that we currently live in was the exact same one from my dream! At the end of our conversation I mention that I didn’t think I could find a church: she then smiles and informs me that her husband was the associate pastor for an international baptist church. I try to stay close to the original scripture rather than picking through these books that have been published recently only because I know how words can have different meanings to different people and sometimes they’ll translate these verses to fit their own narrative. I’m not saying they’re wrong, I’m just saying that if you can read the original Bible and come to your own conclusions and let God lead you to understanding the words that are written. God bless you

God is with us every day. Last September, when I had a fight with one of my friends, I was anxious and depressed. So, that Friday, I went online and searched up HOW DO I JOIN THE CHURCH OF SATAN? Then I installed the CHRISTIAN VERSION OF THE SATANIC BIBLE. I decided I wanted to become a Satanist. But, toward the end of the day, I knew what the consequences were if I joined Lucifer's church. So, I cried and bawled my eyes out. I went to God and confessed my dark secret sin. He forgave me and led me back to Jesus Christ. Amen 😇 🙏 Thank you, God, for opening up my eyes. Thank you for always protecting me. Thank you for being faithful to me. In return, I will keep being faithful to you. I'll keep engaging myself in your Holy Word. Amen 😇 🙏

My band's guitarist's grandfather once told him "don't go looking for God, if he needs you, he'll find you." I was an agnostic for many years. The guitarist told me that advice a long time ago & I sort of wrote it off. Then in the past year, weird things have been popping up in places I'd never expect & they all point directly at Jesus. Both my wife & I have been having these experiences repeatedly & often. I told my Guitarist & he said "well well well. So God wants an audience with [my name]. Who'd've thought?" Ever since then I've been guided through anything and everything I've ever used to hold on to as reasons not to believe in Jesus & have been shown quite blatantly & powerfully why I was wrong. What amazes me so much is how it affects the heart. I never knew this was here this whole time. I'm 39 years old.

Ooooohhh I LOVE THIS. When I was going through a rough time as a young 20 year old stationed in Okinawa this lady helped me, comforted me, and babied me through my ordeal. She let me borrow her Bible and I never gave it back. I would always think about her from time to time feeling a little guilty--she ended up changing duty stations and I never saw her again at that base. Years later I got deployed to Saudi and one day on a walk from the barracks to the bus stop I found these little pieces of paper that were torn. I don't know why but I was compelled to pick them up. They were scriptures. I can't remember what they said but once I got to the bus stop guess who was standing there? MSgt Black herself!! I was even carrying her bible with me at the time!! She told me it was "meant for me to have" and we talked a bit. I knew in my heart God did that for me. The little scriptures on torn paper leading me to her at the bus stop. Very cool.

Fast forward a few hours and I'm asleep in my car at a public parking lot and then out of nowhere, when I wake up, there's a woman staring at me like a foot from my face. A bit creepy sure, so I asked "what do you want?", half expecting her to ask for money for drugs or something. Turns out she was homeless, maybe 4'6" tall. She'd been waiting for me to wake up to ask for food. So we walked to the McDonald's a half a block over and I got her breakfast, then left and went back to work. I remembered my prayer shortly after.

I fell spiritually for about half a year. I don't know what I was practicing but the best I could describe it was chaos-magic. It's the idea that everything is connected but somethings are more connected than others.. And that spells could be anything from the ingredients you choose to put in food to the root of words in the products you buy, depending on what your intentions were. Anyway, I remember many coincidences at the time. So the demonic world can be impressive too and very interesting. I left my rabbit hole because I knew that God was good and that I had rebelled because my life was falling apart and I was being harassed by occultists around me (that didn't even know me), kind of creepy right? After I asked God for help, Everything abruptly stopped. My spiritual connections were severed, the intimidation stopped, my marriage came back together.
