There's killers lurking in a lot of those old games. 10-20 years of optimization can create a few crazy players -- especially on the execution front.

Put some respect on these "Unknown" players. They are old school players before GGPO/Fightcade existed. Players like LiquidMetalX, MiddleKingPin, Joker, Toxy, Dogface and many more are not just unknown players. They been playing this since the old prime and continue to play (Well, beside Dogface and Toxy, haven't seen them in a while on this game). I don't know much of the XvSF community as I never got into it (I play here and there) but I know for a fact they are not just fightcade legends.

Dogface told me about the Canadians in XMvsSF being godlike and he used to bring his supergun setup every year to EVO to run sets against them lol 😆😆😆. I got some old footage of him and MegaMan DS playing at Family Fun arcade years ago

If I remember correctly, to tech a grab, you need to push the button to grab and the directional button in the same direction. For example, if they grab you and push the left directional button and the grab button while they're on the right side, you need to do the same thing, but it will be the direction away from them, which will tech the grab.

I used move like that on arcades. You would need tons of practice of course and I spent practically all of my allowance for school but it was worth it bro. And I was not even the best in our town. This guy named Angel was a beast. If I was not playing beside him, I would think he has 2 terminals and four hands 😂 Miss playing in game centers though. Not only are you having fun, you meet a lot of people too! That game center had it all, we had almost all of the best fighting games we had Marvel vs Street fighter, KOF 98 -2000, Tekken 3, 4 and tag 1. That's why I don't play FC that much, too many suspect players. Especially Brazilians that have convenient lag it seems. I remember I accused a Alex player on 3rd strike and after that he made a big scene in the chat... Spectated one of his games after and he was playing at his real skill level(scrubby) to avoid suspicion. of coarse I was the bad guy in the chat for calling out a cheat. No one ever believes when you call out a cheater in FC unless it's super obvious...
