Beginner focused channel, beginner focused videos! Rhino is literally the first frame that a new player will be able to farm! Nekros follows not long after and is a recommended pick up by many for resource farming, his kit is lack luster so many new players may write him off as an underwhelming frame incredibly quick. Helminth system is unlocked as early as mastery rank 8, informing newer players that they have the option to put roar (one of the best if not the best damage buffing abilities in the game) on ONE of their frames configs so they can take said frame into steel path if they please to take advantage of their unique abilities (in this case desecrate for extra loot) isn't a bad idea as you can do all of this incredibly early. What you can't do early is pick up a frame that is behind some deeper form of time gate e.g hildryn and just throw their ability onto a frame just because it does also work with the frames kit, it's bad advice to recommend to a new player to pick up items / frames that are locked very deep into the game behind multiple time gates, people what the fastest solutions possible to their problems and by introducing the helminth system early by showing rhino's roar on frames it makes newer players more prepared for when they can actually acquire something that is heavily time gated.

Roar doesn't make any frame good.... though.... It's a good ability but I think Larva would be better option since you're already speccing for medium to high range. Gathering them up and then stack them with a good weapon is going to be better over just adding roar.

Rather keep roar and make use of arcanes, mods or Nautilus’s precept Cordon for grouping

@@JustaMuteCat that’s another option. Nekros doesn’t normally have energy issues so it’s not a bad way. I just dislike the fact that “put roar it” is coming out like this. Because it down plays so many, well a few, other good abilities that can bring some otherwise mediocre frames up into really good places.

In this case it’s a good pick though imo. Roar doesn’t just affect weapon dmg, it also dips into Ability Strength as well, so dmg won’t be a problem even in SP, and with Shield of Shadows+Despoil, you won’t really have to worry about dying as Nekros either.

@@somnus7959 I mod my Nekros with some range too so it really depends on play style. I’ve had no problems in arbitrations or SP with Larva and it feels better to play for me at least. So a lot of this comes down to play style.

@@knightsbailey A fellow range Nekros enjoyer lol. Completely agree. I said all that and don’t even use Roar myself tbh 😅. I’m still deciding what I should subsume if at. His kit overall works well enough with itself that you don’t need to subsume imo.

Would also highly recommend to have another load out with mirage’s eclipse as well. That way if you know someone has roar already, you can dip into it.

I like roar on especially as a team buffing ability. Does it work on Nekros' shadows too? Anyhow, I know Nourish" is somewhat hard to get, but if the viral wave triggers from Despoil damage, that could be fun too. Roar is pretty universal though.

$10 worth of plat or hours of your Time. In my case, I don’t normally Spend play on frames unless I needed one for subsume and don’t want to farm so I used a coupon, but 10 minutes of pay is better than hours of rng farming the same mission and cut scenes then waiting 3 days to build it
