Toxicroak is one my favourite pokemon, Dry skin is such a good ability, an entire immunity to a very good type in exchange for a bit of extra damage from fire? Even if it doubled fire damage, effectively giving you a weakness to it, would still be worth the immunity to water.

I mean if someone is going to invest their hard earned money into getting the game, it would be cool to be able to get onto the competitive scene with less grinding. I think they approached it the right way with SV. It still takes some work, but as far as little things like being able to swap out movesets easily without having to get Heart Scales is a huge win imo

I have a Whimsicott set that I like to use. It's by no means a bad Pokemon, but a Risk-Reward set, rather than support. Item: Choice Specs EVs: Max Sp. Atk, Mixed HP and Speed Moon Blast Grass Knot/Giga Drain Trick Tail Wind Defensive Teras are better on this and I've found both Grass Knot and Giga Drain work for it, and the choice really comes down to what you prefer and/or expect to face. You can lead with a Trick, Tail Wind or hit something hard that is expecting you to normal Whimsicott things with your meager 77 Sp. Atk, catching a lot of people off with OHKOs or two shots on things Whimsicott has no business hurting. Super fun when the gambits pay off.

I have so many toxicroaks, my favorite one is my full priority build. Lonely Nature, 252 atk 252 sp atk, with Fake out, Vacuum Wave, Bullet Punch and Suckerpunch with poison touch ability and a life orb. I've used this one in high tiers in previous games ( i don't have S/V though) and it's especially good in doubles. Really fun to use xd

I just made a team were rampardouse is really good in doubles. A trick room team along with curse farigaraf. the farigaraf sets up 2-3 curses baton pass to rampardose with the defense boost it can take a hit wile your other Pokémon switches to farigaraf. then you sweep the team with rampardose.
