Shelly's Leavanny has Fell Stinger, and her entire team is built around building advantage from the start to allow her team to sweep, from her fighting you in Doubles to a lead combo with Sticky Web + Prankster Rain Dance (protecting from Fire) -> Tailwind next turn... That Leavanny is just one of the sweepers she has, and it has swept me on more than 1 occasion. She's the THIRD Gym leader too, and yet she remains probably the roughest leader I've fought...

Leavanny is like Leafeon if it was slightly weaker but was slightly faster and had a second STAB. This thing is deceptively solid despite the two 4x weaknesses, but a Swords Dance set is the way I usually run this. Add on the STAB and something like Shadow Claw, and it can put in more work than you’d think

Fell Stinger should be reason #2 to fear Mega Beedrill back in ORAS and USUM. (Reason #1 was the 2 extra spikes, and its overall LARGER-THAN-A-NORMAL-WASP's aerodynamic body) My guy unlocked a DECADE OLD memory of my favorite mega evolution. (IT'S BEEN 10 YEARS SINCE ORAS RELEASED, WTF)

Probably just in case it's a rare non-choice set going for a move like Reflect/Substitute instead. Knew he had the game in the bag so probably went for the safest option to prevent any sort of reversal.

He was playing around substitute. If electrode knocked out samurott and kept a substitute in tact (by fully paralyzing him with thunder wave), slither wing would be forced to lock into close combat or flare blitz, which electrode could keep using substitute on and potentially knock it out. It's the only way to lose.

Its werid that people think that Leavany is part of the 'early bug' archetype, meant to teach about evolution early on and and give an early statistical powerhouse. However in the first Unova games you couldnt get the line before the second gym and it evolves after level 20 for the first time, way after the starter. Meaning it doesnt actually qualify as part of the series.

Idk if you've ever seen a defensive espeon, but it's surprisingly good. Run a sun team, have reflect, light screen, morning sun, magic bounce, and have whatever the item is that extends reflect and light screen. Got this set from a shofu b/w wifi battle I saw like 12 years ago, but i figured it'd be a good support mon in modern pokemon. I like to pair this with dragon dance tera fire haxorus, which does big boy damage and since he's fire it can't get burned. Also mold breaker EQ check rotoms. Try it if ur interested. As always since I was a kid, love the vids @Haydunn

Begging you to use offensive Uxie with Tera Fairy, just like your old Hypno set. Been doing damage on showdown. Everyone expects passive Uxie + enough natural bulk to set up a Calm Mind or two. Eat up knock offs with Tera Fairy and drain health with a boosted Draining Kiss. Psyshock to hit on the physical side and Thunderbolt for coverage.
