I've never seen that either, however, it makes "sense" (I'm not saying is right to do it tho) if you want to "smooth" The skin, however you can use primer hahha I guess back in the day when we used to use hairspray as setting spray there were some ppl using candle wax as smoothing primer before existed

That make no sense, that thing has nothing to do. They all are just bad makeup artist, the professional ones, really learn how to match all kind of skin shades. It's true, that actually the hard ones to match are the most deep skin tones, but a really good makeup artist could make it easily.

I know a bit about candles for that purpose, so here’s some fun facts: If she were doing this to someone in that way, she’d absolutely be blasted by the entire BDSM community for this. This was absolutely dangerous, and improper for that setting. There are specific candles you must use for wax play, and certain ways you must melt the was as to not burn the submissive. You cannot put it anywhere on the face, or sensitive areas. Only on open skin, like thighs, buttcheeks, stomach, etc. facial, nipple, and groin areas are absolutely not allowed, and can harm people. Especially if you aren’t prepping the areas you’re going to put the wax. Not to mention, there was no informed consent!! This would be considered an assault since there was no consent given for this! Scenes cannot be on the fly without a submissive’s consent to what will happen to them, you MUST tell them what you’re doing clearly, and wait for a yes or no.

12:47 they're using a toothpick to separate her eyelashes after mascara?? Seriously? Not only is that dangerous because an eye could get poked out, it's cheap and ridiculous. An eyelash comb works just fine. Yikes!
@lacey8922 жыл бұрын
Sometimes I use a toothpick/tapered nail tool or the side of my tweezers in between my lashes to (very carefully) separate them one by one. They're really sparse, so if they stick together jt looks like I have a grand total of 4 eyelashes lolol. A brush or spoolie just won't do the trick bc it ends up dragging the rest of the mascara off in the process. That said, I would NEVER in a million years let someone else use this 'technique' on me and get that close to my eye w a sharp object :/

candle wax actually is good for skin. The wax is a natural emollient, helping make skin supple and soft. When applied to the skin, it adds moisture and continues to boost the moisture levels of the skin after the treatment is complete. It can also help open pores and remove dead skin cells. That may help make the skin look fresher and feel smoother. It actually is known to help seal in moisture, soften and smooth your skin. Simply light the candle, let it warm for 20 min. Blow out. Then apply melted wax with a brush all over your face

Actually soy wax was used by geisha as a primer for thier makeup. But soy candles are different, they aren't a preparation made for human skin. Candles probably contain preservatives to prevent them from going rancid and colorants that could color the skin...then there's the heating which could change how the chemicals interact with your skin. Bintsuke is basically the traditional soy wax primer used as either hair oil or primer for the white foundation. It was used to keep the makeup out of pores and keep skin clear, and help the foundation adhere. It was mixed with herbal oils like chamomile, camelia oil or other light oils that were beneficial to skin. It was removed by a steam towel, and then by using a paste of ricebran and bird droppings from the nightingale bird. And if you were real fancy crushed pearls.
