Actually, Rossetti's poetry was very well received. 1,000 books were printed, which sold out within a month (250 copies sold in America). The sales were followed by excellent reviews and praise from Tennyson, Browning, and other successful poets of the time.

Totally loved extending my art-education through the “Masters before us” series, hosted by @Tannerpolsley. It was delivered with a sense of humor, a pinch of sarcasm and a dash of creative flair. I especially enjoyed how he put things in very relatable urban language, as well as, the takeaway message to : “go create an audience for your Art 🖼️, rather than creating Art for your audience”. Keep up the good work! I look forward to the next snackable video 😃

What an interesting story about this painter and I also loooove animals and his paintings are gorgeous so sad he did not find peace in his work as some of us do with the help of the Holy Spirit yes ❤by the way you are a great story teller and your message is awesomw

You had me at wombat. And boy did it not disappoint 😂. Am I the only one struck by the crazy fact that the only people that were painted outside of biblical or mythological characters was the uppity-upper-crust-super-wealthy-and-powerful or the lowest crumbs of society? No in between. 🤨😆

Thank you Much Appreciated but are You not going to mention his relationship with The very famouse william morriseys wife? Jane Morris , there ongoing affair. thats stuff of legend in its self. Or Rossettis famouse sister a highly acclaimed poet, writer of Goblin Market the also the verse for "Bleak mid Winter".to name but a few. you could have done the Wombats in a couple of sentences and mention few other interesting and significant facts in that time. Also he famously had a managerie of other animals he kept mainly in his garden in his very grand house on the River Thames "cheyney Walk" Where many other rich or famouse people of past and present set up home. MIck Jagger, Roman Abramovich. and many others. Other than that it always enjoyable to read or see anything about any of Rossetti family. well delivered thanks again.

Wow … very interesting and weird. He must identified himself as Wombat. 💭 🤔

No revelatory info, something anyone can look up and find out about in 10 min on Wiki or Google. Still as a narrator (using that term lightly) you were worth about 20 minutes of my time. So not a complete loss! Your love for the PBR does that mean your own art mimics their style?

I'm still waiting to learn how he change the art world, or change the video title.

Nothing new here. Don't worry about Rossetti or his women, just one "like super duper" poseur on another. "Radical for 1848"? Never seen a J.M.W. Turner?
