Some great finds there guys, a fair bit of money laying around there to the right person, the old chap needs someone to help him sell them on & make a bit of money fro himself & the house you said he owns but doesn't live in, he could be comfortably off somewhere, this might have started off as a collection hobby but has obviously become a hoarding problem now, they've been there for decades, he's not got any intentions of doing anything with now, once he's gone it'll be another one of those places that just gets left untouched for years! I can't believe he hasn't had more enquires, as some of the cars are right alongside a busy road!

What a nice collection. Sad to see them rotting away though. My heart sank for the ZX9R. That was a B3 model. I owned the more desirable B1 model way back in the 90s for 12 years before I decided to sell it. Big mistake. It was a very decent bike for its time and yes, you are right when you said, they were really fast. i got mine up to 270 Klm/hr. I have since purchased 2 E series ZX9R's which are properly fast and a much better bike than the B series.

You might find that US cars like that Cadillac wagon in right hand drive may have been built in Canada as here in Australia we got a lot of American cars that were sold alongside our large Australian cars that were built there as they are a Commonwealth country and this is why we got them from there as this was a way around the heavy import duty and other taxes after the Second World War that US built cars imported here cost us and also because of this the US stopped building right hand drive vehicles for places like us and for example Canadian GM factories built them in right hand drive so this is where we got them from, nowadays there is big business in Australia like Walkinshaw converting left hand drive US cars and trucks in their tens of thousands to right hand drive like RAM trucks, Chevrolet silverados, the Toyota Tundras now being about to be released and even the m Chevrolet Camaros until recently and they convert the Corvettes sold here, Ford Australia thru another affiliated company convert the F-series of trucks sold in Australia in. Northern Melbourne suburb also, I believe RAM trucks actually engineer their trucks in right hand drive at their factory but are assembled in Australia with factory parts

@@TheBeardedExplorer BSA is a wise buy if you get it at a good price but the Morini V twin looks to me a far more interesting proposition. The BSA has been chopped and bastardised with Harley forks despite the fact it looks like it has a Road or Super Rocket engine. The little Morini looks much better. Everyone takes the piss out of Italian paintwork but that is a good looking little example of a quite rare but very capable and exciting bike.

That Audi GT is a 5 cyl 2.0 not a Quattro. I had one back in the day and they were rubbish. The Quattro was a different car, no comparison other than look.
@martinhardy54625 ай бұрын
Agreed. The Quattro had distinctive flared wheel arches which should be visible above the front and rear wheels. That is an Audi Coupe B2 and was produced as a budget "look-a-bit-like" for the Quattro with no 4WD and using a N/A engine (various sizes 1.9 to 2.3). Same bodyshell I believe.
