It was the worst day of me and my brother Lamar Banks' life. We lived at 93 Metcalf St. with our grandparents because our dad John Banks who had custody of us worked on the railroad and lived in Virginia at the time. I remember looking up the hallway from our bedroom and seeing my uncle sitting in the recliner with a long rifle next to him, telling grandma how Suzie and the kids where all dead. My brother put his hand over my mouth and we hid and stayed in the room. To this day (I'm 47/7yr.old in 83') and I still have nightmares. I just miss my family, we went over uncle George's like every weekend and played with our cousins. I used to have a lot of questions but learned over the years to give thanks and praise to Yahweh for covering me and sparing my life and to just give what I don't know and understand (his mental state or reasons for doing this) to God for his thoughts, will and purposes are higher than mine. ❤

My oldest was born in the 1980's and he struggled when he was younger with friends and honestly where he felt more comfortable between his dad and me after we divorced. The one thing I did was move to a city where raising bi racial children was very accepted this was a good move for my boys and myself. watching this man what he did and how he claimed he couldn't cope with creating all of these beautiful biracial children and the misery they would go through in their life as they grew up, The only misery they would have gone through if this wouldn't have happened is being raised by him and his insane beliefs. I also wanted to bring up that you can't tell me that these girlfriends who had the children weren't collecting some welfare and food stamps to help in the house. I think they were, He couldn't have made that much money to support all the children and pay child support for his other children not in the home so the women were helping out but not to what he wanted to live by.

Can someone explain to me what the judge said when he would not allow crime scene images and photos because they were "inflammatory"?? What does he expect the people to feel about the murder of 13 people including children? Jubilant? Was he seeking sympathy for the " accused" murderer?

Mytube777 Thank you for your explanation. I think I should respect people’s decision by each one’s different circumstance too. I admit that’s my short-sighted way of thinking. I was only focusing on the fact that there should not be *just for free* if you gain something. For example, watching some documentary for your entertaining/relaxing time. It is not a rip off to pay for something you actually used or enjoyed which was provided by other people’s effort.

There is definitely a " code" that is drummed into correctional staff that you follow or pay the consequences from your peers. I was told that I didn't follow the "Code." I asked what that was and was told that that it consisted of seeing inmates as worthless animals who should be all strung up upside down. The code begins with job interview questions such as "What would you do if an inmate is trapped inside a burning cell" Hint: If you are willing to open the door, you won't get hired. The attitude gets strengthened further by an "us vs them" attitude produced directly by inadequate staffing. When one guard has to supervise 60 -80 inmates, the basic question becomes what you are willing to do if one of them starts something; sooner or later you must show them what that is. People will answer that challenge based on the level of humanity and
@AMunoz-rh9cz4 жыл бұрын
ethical development you entered with. Finally, just because they are the majority of humans present, a violent and/or criminal mentality influences the staff more than vice versa - and that's assuming the guard was a good person when they were hired. George Banks would have "fit in" just fine in this system. I can pretty much guarantee that he would have treated inmates very badly and "overly enjoyed" his power over other people. The job worsened what was already there and simply made him more proficient in tracking and killing a target - a target, not a fellow human being.

@marmarbinx34583 жыл бұрын
Me too! I was surprised by the pronunciation. Also, the true heroes of any story never get the recognition they deserve. Just like most serial killers are household names, but the majority of people would be hard pressed to name even a handful of their victims. We glorify the violence and not those who suffer it.
@maryanneborders96022 жыл бұрын
I think the British narrator pronounced it wrong. Should be Wilkes-Bar
@Nicolej9202 жыл бұрын
It is often mispronunciation as Wilkes-Bar, Wilkes Bear, but it is absolutely Wilkes Barre (Berry). I have lived 2 minutes from here my entire life and lived in the city on two different occasions as a child and adult. This still haunts us to this day and what’s even more sad is all the houses still remain and we’re never knocked down. Also, George is still alive and constantly plays games where he will refuse food and be forced to have IV nutrition, he has 5-6 girlfriends who visit and put money on his books, he is a coward and a creep and should of been killed that day. Fast forward 10-15 years and Wilkes Barre has a multitude of biracial children, black children, Arab children etc etc and all is well. I, myself am married to an Arab American and have two children who have received no hatred whatsoever.
