Your question is very tricky actually. First of all, Shirou also can analyze things, which was shown in ep.1 with heater in classroom. And based on info he got from it he then can make his next move - make projection of this thing and/or reinforce it. Reinforcement (or strenghtening) is quite simple to learn to use - basics at least - and quite useful and effective. With some experience you can even reinforce your own body, so with current knowlegde about Shirou`s abilities, I`d chose this one. Projection on the other hand seems to be useless for regular mages - high cost, low result. Since projection based on user`s knowledge about object, which are incomplete at very least, projections of said object will have object`s visuals, will be hollow inside and most likely won`t have functions of original. But Shirou managed to pull something that was much more identical to original that it supposed to be possible with such magecraft. That`s why Rin was so shoked.

IIRC, when Shirou projected those swords, it was mentioned in VN that for that short period of time he didn`t actually use them, but more like was driven by them

Wow that's intreresting! That could explain how he was able to go toe-to-toe with Kuzuki after projecting them since summoning them is one thing but actually knowing how to use them is completely different

The weapons that Archer used (his twin swords and spiral sword) actually has names and history behind them, but if you knew them it`d confuse you even more

First of all, Kuzuki physical stats was massivly buffed by Caster`s magic. His skills are outstanding without questions, but regular human simply cannot harm Servant on his own without magic or some sort of supernatural ability or weapon. Not to speaking that even weakest Servants are like 10 times stronger and faster than strongest modern human. Also, Saber heavily relies on mana and now she is kinda in low battery mode) Those conditions lead us to what we saw.

To be fair any magic that is perfected to it's limit's is terrifying.Strengthening on it's best can even buff servant's and projection allows you to copy noble phantasm's but it's all about your compatibility with the said magic. Tehnically any mage can use any type of magic but the mastery and power will be different.This is actually why mage families are created becuase most of them are famous due to their mastery of a specific magic.Matou's are famous of mastering familiar magic,Toshaka's are famous becuase of their gem magic and Einzbern's are famous of their alchemy to the point of creating a high qualitty homunculi and other things that can be created only with alchemy...........but anyway since it was more of a lighthearted question i will preffer to have projection in ordinarry life since it was confirmad in hollow ataraxia that you can create even money if you know how and from what they made then quicly use it to buy something and nobody would knew they fake until they dissapear🤣🤣

So, there are a few reasons why Kuzuki was able to beat Saber that the anime doesn't really go into. 1. The element of surprise. The fact is, Saber could have expected Kazuki to do the most impossible thing humanly possible, and still would have been caught off guard by him being able to fight back. It's THAT impossible for a human to fight a Servant. So much so that no Servant in their right mind would ever even consider it as a possibility. 2. Kuzuki's fighting style, according to the VN, "uses motions that tamper with an opponents senses", making their defenses sloppier,and causing them to leave more openings. 3. Caster. It's literally 90% because of Caster.😂 Caster is a Servant from the Age of Gods. Meaning, her magic in MIND BOGGLINGLY more powerful than that of modern day Mages. If Modern Day Magecraft is a grenade, then Medea's magic is like a nuclear bomb. There's that big a quality gap there, and Kuzuki is having Caster essentially cast buffs on him as he's fighting. Humans that are naturally able to fight with Servants pretty much don't exist. There ARE people who can, but 9/10, calling them human is kinda pushing it, for one reason or another...

So does this also mean that this Caster is more powerful than the other Casters? I wasn't expecting that considering how Archer was able to handle her so easily but maybe Archer is a special kind of Archer too 😅

@@CloudyCrow This Caster isn`t the strongest (there are at least 2 persons who simply off charts and one of them is very simple to guess), but skillwise she is like top 5 in entire Fate, top 10 at worst.
