Once he started with Scott Peterson and the Black Dahlia, he lost every ounce of credibility. "My grandfather committed every unsolved murder! AND solved ones as well!" The Black Dahlia was committed with the precision of a surgeon and he's trying to say his grandfather did this when he was 12... *rolls eyes*

They actually need to spend a bit more time talking about the connections he had to the victims. The theory seems to deep to be true, but just there with the Black Dahlia thing Megan says the family claim he couldn’t have even been there, but the detective forgot to mention the photo booth pictures that were discovered of Ed WITH THE DEAD GIRL just days after the murder. He was with her in a fukn photo booth right before she died but Megan here is making it look like a crazy theory.

I have someone close to me who grew up within a very abusive family and who found out as an adult that his father was the prime suspect in two separate murders separated by several years. He was never charged because of the lack of courtworthy evidence, although the police and public prosecutors were confident he was responsible. It was a trauma on top of the trauma of abuse and undid a lot of healing he'd managed to achieve. It made him question himself and what he was perhaps capable of, it brought back many of the instances of abuse and made sense of threats his father often made to his family. Whether his father was guilty of these murders or not, he used them to terrorise this person's mother, other family members and people he knew and that, in itself, is indicative of what sort of a person he was. I feel for anyone who finds out this sort of information about a family member.

People seem to lack a rudimentary understanding of the English language. Multiple people think that it’s inappropriate to use the word prolific to describe this monster… prolific means high productivity… meaning he killed a lot of people… it’s not used in a celebratory or positive way. Just like nuclear proliferation isn’t celebrating nuclear expansion… the vast illiteracy of this country is disconcerting.

@EdEdwardsCiphers 3 ай бұрын
@@johnscanlon7757 Here here!! This is correct. I would also add, that I found the reasoning behind Cameron's argument was intriguing. One of the main arguments people make that Ed could not have been a murderer or the Zodiac, was that he kept getting busted. And had a rap sheet. But Cameron's logic is what I found fascinating. Because he described something that I processed logically as a beautiful engineering loop. This is how I started to understand how Edwards would think. He was crafty. The crimes that are on his rap sheet, before he was busted for murder, at the end of his life. They all show up as small, petty, and non violent crimes. This is because Ed was so manipulative, that he was manipulating law enforcement. Pitting them against each other. He would testify in the cases that he committed that were violent offenses, but he would be framing other people and testifying against them, giving himself immunity and having his files sealed federally. So those murders wouldn't show up, and still won't, because the government has them sealed. I found this fascinating as I mentioned. Because this is an amazing logical loop. Only someone with an engineering mind could have foreseen to create such a system that he did. Which is why he knew that when caught he needs to checkout with the death penalty, because the whole box that he kept hidden would be under threat of being exposed fully. Not to mention other parties that he may have been involved in, that he would have given up, that would not have taken kindly to his surviving family. They would be under constant immediate threat to their lives. And Ed would know that. He would know that those people would not stop at anything to make him and his family pay, unless they knew for sure he was silenced. I firmly believe in the end, he was running from them, and towards the death penalty, because the price he would have to pay, would not be a burden upon him, but to his family that he would no longer be able to defend. I actually suspect both Charles Manson, and Berkowitz are actually in the same both . (Were for charlie) Ed invented a ponzi scheme. But one for murder. So he murders, but sets people up for the murders. Get's busted for petty crimes, then haggles with information on a bigger crime -- which is how the criminal justice system works. So he was playing the system but with murder. He invented a Madoff scheme for murder. This was a first glimpse into Ed's thinking. Like every Ponzi scheme however, you have to take in more Rubes and dupes, than you have to pay out to. Otherwise, the system gets out of whack, and you can't get off a hamster wheel. Time was up for Ed, as Father Time is undefeated. Ed bargained for the Death Penalty to protect the family that he left behind. This is what I believe. It's also why the family of survivors is actually in a precarious position.

I feel bad for the guy who is scared he will wake up with evil intentions. Most of us are like "nah, don't worry, you won't", but the truth is that committing a crime of passion is different than having a sick enjoyment out of taking lives. One of those is a disease of the mind, I think, and why wouldn't it be inherited? Psychopaths are born (sociopaths are made thru trauma, I think), but if you're born evil like that then how do you know genes aren't a factor? I'm not saying that it is, but idk if we can rule it out either.

Ed Edwards was definitely a serial killer with likely many other unlinked killings to his name, but Cameron just embarrasses himself by claiming that Ed was The Black Dahlia Killer, The Zodiac Killer, Jimmy Hoffa's killer and Jon Benet Ramsey's killer based on his own flimsy speculations.

The FBI defines serial killer as "two or more murders, committed as separate events, usually, but not always, by one offender acting alone". This sicko satisfies the definition of serial killer.

I honestly feel sorry for this man, really. People, particularly those that mock or denigrate this man, fail to understand how this man feels, how he's suffered for what he discovered.ll because he was a good, honest man with good feelings. The Zodiac Killer may very likely have been SEVERAL killers (just like Jack the Ripper in England). This monster is about as cunning and evil as "The Iceman." The question remains, and most often argued over by professional psychiatrists, psychologists, sociologists and professional criminologists, born killers or does some event or series of events bring out the murderous streak... is it nature or nurture? Serial killers are elusive and pass off for "normal," humble, law-abiding people and they are the least person everyone suspects, and even today people find it difficult to believe ADMITTED serial killers actually were killers. I don't believe this creep killed The Black Dahlia, since the son of a doctor wrote a book on his PROOF and evidence that his certified prolific genius-level father committed the Black Dahlia murder and many others the police suspected him of committing (police also listened in on the man's telephone conversations for many months). Insofar as OJ Simpson's guilt, see and hear the video on KZbin, entitled, "My Brother, the Serial Killer." This is why Simpson's children want nothing to do with him, even today. And OJ cannot be tried again due to the Double Jeopardy standard., and HE KNOWS IT.

If he goes out and murders someone that's nobodies fault but his own! He can't blame it on the fact his grandfather was a serial killer.
