I have been just as impressed with Kent's playing and interpretation of tunes. No you are not the only one who see's and hears the talent . However the record industry is barely hanging on because of the internet the freedom of marketing players and no need for a usual corrupted record company entertainment industry contract . Where they ( record lables) own master recordings of artist who eventually don't gain much in royalties because of the corperate monopoly . It takes a lot of money for a development deal for artist . But freedom of the market place , gives the artist to record and release in any type of music genre , rock , country , pop , indie , etc.... 04/24/2022

You won't like the answer. The masses/ millions of clicks don't grasp talent or soul. They want baggy pants, tattoos, and auto-tune. Consider ourselves to be a lucky minority who can value the beautiful magical thing Kent does with a guitar.

Playing any George Benson tune is tough. Especially with the tonality Kent plays with. But Kent doesn't just play George's solo parts, He's playing percussions while playing the baseline and background all while playing lead. Crazy man! Amazing!

Keeping the beat in the bass and swinging the melody is a borderline super power..
Some musicians inspire others to follow in their footsteps. Kent inspires us to just watch and enjoy. There's almost zero chance of any other mortal following in his footsteps! Masterful, as always! Even if we could somehow learn Kent's technique, which would take any of us decades to do, we would never be able to match his flawless sense of style, timing, musicality. To achieve all those things flawlessly in every song takes more than skill. It's a gift. And Kent has given that gift back to the world with every one of his masterpieces.
