What I expected: Math classes, History classes (for game lore) Geography quizzes, tests, day and night system, P.E classes, homework, grades and ranks in server, a single map for a whole school, a ball room, massive garden and etc... What I got: Classroom with chairs, borings tasks, no grades needed and over-priced rooms that I have to sell all my organs to afford a BED. I would never study in Royal High in real life even if it was my childhood's dream to live in a fairy highschool.

Th game is just p2w at this point. The farming is fucked up and the new school couldn’t suck more for being under development for THREE ENTIRE YEARS, not to mention it’s not even finished (as far as i’m aware, i havent played in a while). The new sets are so pretty, i honestly had a ton of interest, specially in the valkyrie one as i tend to do medieval/victorian roleplays with my sister, but none of the dolls can be shipped (or even found) in my country, are expensive as heck (imo), and personally, I’m not even interested in some temu ahh looking kids toys. The devs just care about money and f2p players are fucked. The game is doomed. The end is incoming if they dont do something, but given the last couple years with shitty updated and drama, they wont bat an eye about it.

we waited 3-4 years for a locker courtyard that eventually got deleted, EXPENSIVE custom dorms that are just in a long hallway, an office area, bathing area, some castle heart, and a main entrance. the elements are literally the only fun thing i experienced in that update, other than that eventually there is nothing to do. i dont understand how that all took 3-4 years? it seems like they just focused on building more than activities. and sure there's art class and musical chairs but those are just exp grinding classes. i miss the old royale high. i dont know much about roblox game making but cmon, 3-4 years for so little is insane.. and now theyre apparently working on a campus 4. unbelieveable. just work on and build up campus 3. but people will still love it no matter what, its royale high, how could you not? i played it in my childhood, its hard to leave it. they'll just release small, attention grabbing updates to get players back periodically. sorry for the yap but..

The new school is admittedly pretty. But in the end, all it is really is a pretty lobby. There’s nothing to do. They could substitute that with some roleplay gear or recommend roleplaying more to their community or adding some more fun mini games (that ACTUALLY give you a good amount of gems) but all they do is produce more weak attempts for money without influencing their game for the better in the mere slightest. And they’re soon going to realize that as soon as the farmers get bored of their routines and drop it as well, that their game is going to be cleared in general. It says a lot when one of the older versions of the game was just a hunk of blocks and still had more color, light and fun more than the updated version of the game

I personally do not really care about “influencer drama” or being “money hungry” (Do not start with the “supporting Jazwares” stuff.) because I truly want to look for fun in the game. As in: • I role-play with my small friend group • I do archery by myself or with my friends • I campus 3 quest farm • I play sunset island most times • I make (usually matching) outfits with my friends • I constantly make outfits that pop up in my mind - recreating my imaginary outfits keeps my inner designer happy and satisfied… • I decorate my dorm and locker to make myself feel proud and accomplished/tidy - I change my dorm/locker and even outfits according to events or seasons or holidays which keeps me busy… • I go sightseeing in dormitories • I go to the trading hub to get pretty items to make even more outfits - and again entertain myself by making them…- Is that not enough for the people who are plainly getting bored? There are many more things that I personally don’t do, as well. What I see most of the time is that nearly everything people really care about up-front is the _developer drama,_ the _youtubers being neglected,_ the self-proclaimed _need to be encouraged to do things,_ and the _newer updates_ or lack thereof.. Those four are among the small-ish group of reasons you ‘don’t like Royale High.’ But what about the game itself, though? At this point, most people start complaining about “ohh theres nothing new, ohhh it’s getting all boring-“ when that’s _your_ standards. You want everything to be quick and (sometimes, oddly, even at-command for certain people..) and constantly new or innocently made. They gave us campus 3 with 7 new realms (taking away enchantix high for copyright reasons) and I was already happy with campus 2 and everything else, but I started playing campus 3 much more often. And I myself, am very happy with it! But even then, most other people start saying “but the developers are being rude” or “theyve ignored all the youtubers and the community suggestions” or even “the game is dying” (Okay?! And?? It doesn’t matter if the game is “dying”. Really, what does the _number of players_ have to do with the _quality_ and/or _gameplay_ of Royale High in-game?) I like the game. It’s a game. what is (sensibly) wrong with the game? It’s fun if you want to have fun. It’s entertaining if you let it entertain you. *If you really get just that bored of it, then move on to something else. Start playing a different game like all the youtubers and rest of the community. this is so real 😭 i've been trying to start oldie cults in campus 1 but people just want to be the bully and be rude to people. they have no interest in roleplaying, they just want to fight and cause drama. ngl a lot of the players now are 11-14 yr olds who haven't experienced old royale high, when it was actually fun and had real gameplay other than quests and mini games. almost everything is diamond-blocked and royale high just cares about money. i honestly feel like royale high has fallen too deep, they can't fix it anymore. there's a game called old royale high lobbies which is pretty fun but that's about as close as you'll get to old royale high. #bringbackjake 😢

I used to LOVE Royal high but now….its sooo boring and the devs just seem lazy at best! I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED when they removed the classic enchantix high map. (If they remove campus 1 I’m gonna be so mad.) Everything is so expensive and the tasks are boring. Farming is so tedious and overly time-consuming. New sets are mid and they removed masc body!! No wonder everyone is quitting RH! 😭😭 The new school is pretty I guess but I expected more after waiting for so long! I was so hyped up for it. I used to roleplay in RH with my online friends. In most servers other players would actually watch whatever was happening, but in some servers they would be frankly disgusted and ask “why would you roleplay in this kind of game?” And make fun of us/mock us I really do miss roleplaying as it made amazing memories and connections, but a number of factors made us stop; 1) most obviously the overpriced items 2) we all grew up, so roleplaying was out of our appeal as the years went by 3) outside of farming, there’s really nothing to do in the game 4) ties into number 2 a little bit. our roleplays really had no sense of direction and overtime, we just got bored Roleplaying was fun while it lasted, I admit. Especially during the summer of the Covid lockdown where we couldn’t get outside, I mostly relied on roleplays and hangout games to talk with people (FaceTiming my irl friends ofc) again I made amazing memories with the most amazing people. I’ll definitely miss the feeling of hopping on Roblox and seeing my friends online

What you are saying is so true, when I play the game now I only see people farming and NONE of them are roleplaying. For example I was doing some quests in the new Art class and one player said that they really miss roleplaying and I said yeah same, we continued to talk about Royal High and I got on the topic of the new dolls and they where like they LOVE the sets but to obtain them it is really hard. For me I live in a country where I am most likely not to find the dolls and obtain the sets and to be honest I am not going to trade my hard earned diamonds or halos for an item/s. But I totally understand where you are coming from, Royal High is going to die and my words never fall to the ground, if they don't hurry up and REALLY update the game it is going to fail and most of our player base is going to DTI, me personally I don't play but to me it's an "Okay" game (to me). its sad how 99% of all communities end up being too popular, too many people and too high up to not listen to the members. I saw many people hating over the top but for a valid reason because the creators didnt listen to their suggestions and begins to fall apart. I wish the world was a much more inclusive, tolerant and aware place, but the creators are so busy in their work that they gradually become deaf to their loyal members. So much for providing a perfect place for everybody... Currently the majority of the royale high community hates on the game, i dont like seeing hate, its too negative and critical, but its valid and all i know is that every good thing has to come to an end...there must be still be hope, fans and support otherwise what's the point of royale high?

Myself, I believe that most RH players immigrate to DTI because both games are a dress up game, except RH items are all paid and most of dti items are not. In dti you don't have to spend half of your life farming to get some shoes. Also, both games have very good graphics, but RH is way more laggy. (To me both are extremely laggy because I have a potato phone). Also there are barely any updates? I quitted the game because of that. I regret it? Well, yes. I miss roleplaying with my friends, we used to have a whole family.

Atleast dti has a purpose, you explore opportunities and possibilities in an outfit to match a theme and try your best to place first. Its not the best but its simple and fun to play most of the time

Campus 3 is clearly made just for farming. It's annoying to move about the campus because every room is it's own separate realm. So if you want to go from the dorms to the castle's heart, you have to travel through realms which can take time to load the realm and it just gets annoying if you have a laggy device (I used to and it would sometimes take forever to switch realms). This is an inconvenience to roleplayers, because if you want to carry on with your roleplay in another part of the campus, you have to friend the person/people you're roleplaying with to increase the chance of ending up in the same server, but even then there's no guarantee. The dorm furniture prices are insane. I'd say a regular routine of farming every day with no multipliers gets you about 3-30k. And with that, you can buy... A few items. That's it. You can't even make your dorm look good unless you sell your soul to the game and farm 24/7. Too much. What do the devs expect from us? They clearly think we're gonna commit to grinding worthless digital currency for long enough to make a decent enough digital room. Same with the fashion items. In my opinion, Royale High won't end. There's always gonna be some brainwashed under 13 kids that have given up their grades and such just for some digital diamonds that aren't really gonna benefit their actual life.The devs have kept them hoping for the school to eventually be complete, for them to eventually be rich with diamonds, but all for what? But Royale High has ended in a way. We lost the old Royale High, that was fun, with fair pricing, and full of roleplayers. It has been replaced with a boring, money hungry, time wasting machine that sucks you in. You'll always want more items, more diamonds, and even if you buy the whole shop, you just wait until more comes out. And farm for that. So Royale High wants you to farm for hours. They want money. And they disguise it all with a pink sparkly castle. All the bad stuff I explained, they want all that. It's all a part of their scheme. They changed. Barbie made Royale High originally as a Winx Club fan game, just for roleplaying. Diamonds were just there to add something for players to work for. But look at it now. Look at them now.

Some KZbinrs are rlly kind enough to keep on promoting royal high with their new updates but it is not rlly affecting many people at all because barbie and the devs don't seem to care anymore abt the players. At this point, Barbie should just learn to take critizism and actually improve the game or probably best option is to sell the game to developers who actually would make the game better for us

One of the possible problems though that would come up if she sold the game would be that the company/person would be just as power hungry. Seeing that Barbie has made it clear that she wants money with all the next sets costing over 500 dollars to get all of them, she might sell it to a big company who is just as money hungry or worse than her. When people sell their games, the people who buy it usually only care about money and not the community. It’s just a possibility. Not saying that it would happen if she sells the game.

Royale High has essentially Become a simulator game. In simulators on Roblox, you Mostly just click buttons over and over and over and get a new thing like a pet for it. In royale High, you Mostly just fly around over and over and over and get diamonds to buy things with and Trade with.

Its fr gone downhill,the prices have gone up,I mean in the new campuses,the cost to even get a bed is ridiculous,its sad seeing the game start to die off but i totally understand why.I remember joining royal high back when i first started playing roblox in 2018 a few years later in about 2021 i started getting bored,so i decided to give away all my items to one person,i probably spend over like 10k robux on that game,to join back and see the lack of people roleplaying and actually having fun hurts,people are just trying to get money now because everything is just too expensive.

Here are my personal opinions on the new royale high updates: 1. Starting off, I do not like campus 3. For me personally, I believe the designing to it is beautiful, but I wish it was more similar to the other campuses. For example, I wish they still had the whole notification thing where it said “Chemistry is starting! Teleport now!” or whatever class it is. That personally for me was always fun. As well as just having more classes available like they had said would be released. 2. The new sets. I absolutely love the new sets, the designs are amazing and probably some of my favorites. However, I don’t like the fact you have to pay REAL money to get those sets, and for me personally, paying $50 for a doll isn’t exactly worth it. This isn’t only about the new sets, clearly all the sets are very expensive for what they are. Most of the sets are about 100K+ diamonds if you want the whole set. I also agree with saying it has now just became a farming game for diamonds, and no longer a role-play game. Overall, I understand why many players left the game. Inflation, and how now they are mostly just focusing on the money, and not what the actual players of their game are saying. However, with it used to be my favorite game, its hurting to see the downfall. (If you have made it this far, you deserve a cookie :3🍪)

I am a OG player during Valentines 2019, and the game changed a lot, firstly, some players might not have the time to grand for items due to school, homework. Secondly, the sets and items are too overpriced and not very beginner friendly. Third, the game is just not a roleplay game anymore, and just boring.

Former royale high player here, quit last year. I joined since end of 2018. I loved royale high so much and I used to play it a lot with my sister. When campus 3 released, I told my sister about it, we checked it out and it was so damn boring. The more I didn't quit royale high, the more i started to realize rh developers are becoming money hungry. I mean, we already could tell when the DCD set released. The last time I played royale high was in the dungeon event. A few days ago, I just wanted to check on royale high and saw the new sets and was amazed. I thought they were so pretty, thinking "Are we going to be able to buy these with diamonds soon?" Only to realize it's with actual money. I can't buy the toys since I don't have the money for that (also, if i told my parents i wanted a 50 dollar toy off of Amazon, they'd immediately say no).

Inflation is the reason I quit, along with the inaccurate cherry blossom set. I've played it since 2021 and left in 2023. 2 years, and I have only managed to accomplish finishing the cb set due to the high prices. Also because sunset island is basically the only effective way to earn diamonds but it gets boring after a while. I was also disappointed with campus 3 as well. I'll never return to Royale High. I hope the developers get more productive 😐

the whole reason why i got a roblox account was so i could play royale high, and it’s just depressing to see how far from grace it’s fallen. but i was kinda expecting this after the introduction of the trading hub, since the entire existence of trading was built on farming and grinding for items that could be worth something more valuable [i used to play animal jam and it had a very similar system to the royale high trading system] and encourage nasty behavior that made new players feel worthless or poor. it also sucks because i’ve spent a good amount of real money on this game to get certain items. it’s just really damn disappointing to see all of this happen to a game i used to love so much. :\

All of these are facts, as a person who has played RH till 2019. took a break until i think 2020? (Near 2021) This is so true, the game used to be so much fun back in 2019-2020 heck even 2021. but from what we got from the new school so far and already doing a campus 4, it just throws me off so much. Sure, i am a bit excited and hopefully Royale high WILL redeem itself eventually as Campus 3 has so many issues that i think can be fixed as (hopefully) time goes on. and like you said, it went to 100k when campus 3 came out, but if that was in the starting day it might been because of all the beta phases. and how high the level was at the time for most(and new) players. It can also be because of the wait as well, and like you said in the video I was also kind of disappointed when i saw the new school for the first time, but with all the new stuff that has been added it also didn't disappointment me too much. Now I'm not gonna go into all the Video here because i don't want to have to pause a 3 minute video and type for probably at least 20-40 minutes to get my point across, however, From what I've seen here, you my friend, are probably the closest I've seen to a RH KZbinr be correct on its downfall, I've seen plenty of videos talk about it, but you my friend don't waste your time and get ur point straight across and Yea! Its sad to see what royale high has come too, but either way, it still does have a chance to change in the future even though its very slim, i still have hope, and I've learned my lesson from when I've quit. don't let doubt get to you so quickly. As someone who only discovered the game a few months ago, at first I was impressed by the detailed design and buildings, but once I got past the personality test that sorts you into your “house”, I was shocked that there was nothing more to do than wash yourself, play musical chairs, or collect the little amount of diamonds that was available to you. If they made the game more quest-based and interactive, it could really make a difference.

I think it’s also a problem that all of their sets are seasonal items, which makes the game less fun because you have to wait a couple of months for the winter set or the Halloween set instead of being able to buy them whenever you want so you can customize your character and the ones that aren’t seasonal are just plain or look bad and I spent at least 3-400 robux on diamonds and didn’t even get enough for SHOES and the heels I got (the only heels I had ) which were the butterfly ones got DELETED I worked my butt off for them and I join one day poof! There gone!! It’s not fun I don’t expect it to continue in the new campus they don’t even have the task (ex. Science class is starting! Or art etc). I hope the game dies off slowly I don’t want to sound rude to the community but it’s not a good game anymore or at least not the same……

I also feel like the doll thing does not make too much sense because Royale high might know that a lot of people like 11-16 years old might be playing and I feel like most older kids would honestly not really want the doll and just the items and what's frustrating is that people who cant buy or find the dolls and are excited for new things to come, they just see new stuff that costs money and if they cannot buy it, then they'll have to try trading for it and the doll items are probably going to be worth like a halo or something.

I always thought getting 300 diamonds without multipliers was too low. It really should have been higher. Even with multipliers it is still hard to farm up though. Considering if you are saving up for halos which is hella expensive. The whole problem is trading and high expensive stuff.

Hello! To those who want to play something like Royale high but with cheaper items and great developers, here's a game! Royalty Kingdom 2 : It's basically like Royale High, but there's more sets, event items, and halos (with many dif toggles, one being permanently able to get) Their items and sets are priced cheap! They give out codes and they give you tons of free starter accessories, they also respect all races and representation and have LGBT items and black history month items, the hairstyles also have a good representation, so are the sets Rk2 is still pretty underrated, so you can have a try :D

also astro renaissance is a good replacement for rh it basically has similar things that rk2 has! (good representation, cheap prices, more sets) but it doesn’t have free starter items like rk2 does but grinding is VERY easy compared to rk2 (i feel like rk2 grinding is kinda time consuming esp if you dont do the obbies) astro ren actually allows afk farming for the arcade minigames! (which is op asf i got like 1 mil for afk farming overnight from spot the difference) other up and coming games like rh which you should 100% support are enchanted m and land of pink juice :3

been playing since basically the beginning, I played when it was ONLY Enchantix High and i feel likes its been going down hill for a long time. I remember when i was younger grinding for diamonds for heels and i remember being so mad and frustrated when they ended up coming out with the new style of heels just a few weeks later as now i cant even wear the heels i grinded for ages to get, i couldn't even try to like trade them in to get my diamonds back which sucked. I also feel as if it had became a grinding game a long time ago. I remember when me and my friend would Rp on it we would get bullied because everyone else just grinded. I also feel as if the creators just really don't care about their older players as they get nothing as a thanks for their support. Like i get it might be unfair to new plays but its also unfair to the old players who might not have the time to grind as much anymore. I don't know, i just feel like Rh has been falling off for longer than most people think. EDIT - just looked and my Aprox. join date was October 9th 2017, only 182 days [ 5 months, 29 days ] from the day it first came out...

Played rh since day 2, i couldnt play a lot of time as I was usually grounded by my mom (hehe) so I only really got time to play on my summer holiday and some weekends, I haven't ever gotten a high in the game and i dont think i ever will! For me, the game is nothing more than just a fun distraction , but lately with all of the sets, heels, dresses it feels like its no longer a fun activity and more like a job everyones just busy farming or trading and theres legit no rps unless you look very hard.:-( Hate how the game turned into a dump after everything that happened, I cant get the items that are coming out in my country (the dolls) and it feels kinda sad to see pretty things that i will NEVER under no circumstances get unless i really try to trade for it.😢

Some things royale high has done that rlly upset me - removed the roleplay aspect with the new campus (but i don’t rp anymore so whatever) - made diamonds game passes incredibly expensive - made the most recent sets available only by buying them and getting a code and now ppl are selling them for hundreds of thousand to millions of diamonds if you wanna trade for them -made us wait years for a new school update to release it in phases that aren’t fully released to then start working on a completely new school. *i’m trying my best not to quit the game but i’m starting to get tired*

I really hate it. The default male torso is basically the female torso but flat, and it infuriates me. Also Summer Fantasy didn’t actually let me use male toggles.

The new campus is pretty much 90% teleporting to get to the right area for quests. The only fun in RH is Sunset Island imo, easy to play with friends because you stay in the same area the whole time. Buuuut… you need diamonds for good looking items to use in Sunset Island… and the prices are so ridiculously high…

I still play royale high but not as much as I used to, really there’s nothing to do anymore. And I’ve heard they’re working on a campus 4 but why are you releasing a 4th campus when the 3rd one hasn’t been fully completed? We still need the cafeteria. Plus, I don’t think I’m excited for any new sets because the ones I’ve seen for the toys aren’t really that good, royale high is just falling apart at this point and making us buy some crappy dolls with real money so we get virtual items. It’s pretty dumb if you ask me.

peak royal high was probably back when we still had campus 1 and we would roleplay and have actual fun in the game now they literally altered the game completely and it doesn't feel like the way it used to be anymore which is sad

i want to play sunset island SO BAD but i ALWAYS lag out, even with my graphics mode on low. Its such a shame because any map i play, i just lag out. I was so pumped for the new school and i haven't even explored it one year later! I loved this game and would spend hours on it, all of my diamonds, halos, robux gamepasses and rare items are now gone to waste. To be honest, the only honorable deed royal high has done was supporting cancer with the goddess of triumph set, and we still dont know how much of it was actually donated.

I really wish that they included more mythical creatures like mermaids and centaurs and unicorns cause it’s meant to be a fantasy game but all I see are fairies and princesses and the fairy wings are barely used whenever I see them :( it would be so cool if you could join the game and pick what kind of species you wanna be and then you can change what species you wanna be for a few hundred diamonds if you didn’t like it later on and have like powers coordinate and to the species like with the fairies /humans. The Royal high team has been teasing mermaids in posters and areas for them to swim in for while now I really wish they would at least include mermaids since they’ve been there since the beginning, I would understand if they didn’t do the other mythical creatures I put down but I was always a mermaid every time I joined Royal high when the mermaid tails were around to buy :(
