I had my credit card skimmed in 2020 at a gas station in Iowa. Run the card but the pump didn’t respond. I went inside to report the problem and was told they knew the pump card reader was out of order. Anyways that night shortly after midnight my bank texted me asking if I made “these” suspicious purchases. Thankfully the fraudulent charges were deleted from my account, but, my credit card was shut off. Fortunately I had my debit card to use for the rest of the trip home, however, I always paid in advance inside the station for security reasons for what it’s worth. A bad actor could wipe out your checking account with a gas pump skimmed debit card. Moral to the story, having a backup credit card account would have been helpful in that situation. And, that hitch is a beast !!

I just ordered the 6in drop offset version of that hitch with the 3 in shank. I'm installing that on a 2022 F450 stock height truck.

JD, look at Bolt locks. They key to your truck key. Less keys to carry around. I use it and I've not had any issues with mine.

There was red tape on top and bottom for tamper resistance at the pump. If you look at the video.

Great video JD, thank you. You've mentioned in a few videos about the length of the hitch off the back of your truck. Does that negatively affect towing, or is it something else?

That's why I always have a hitch ball on my trucks..been rear-ended a few times and I walked away with no damage..the other guy not so much

they steal gas/fuel by opening those up, they do something so the clerk doesnt know the station isnt recording that the pump is on.....they pull up in a van with a tank in the back and steal hundreds of gallons......seen a few where cops busted them doing it

Yes, with a hitch that expensive you need a lockable pin to prevent theft.

Whoever serviced the filters didn't latch the pump access panel correctly. No biggy. I hope you're using Mudflap or atleast Open Roads for huge fuel savings when filling. Sounds like you're not since you spoke of resetting the pump.
