I'm someone with adhd and autism, but if you're a neuro-divergent, and if you're not joshing around and being sarcastic, like how i would josh around and be sarcastic with my adhd and autism, as a coping mechanism, mainly in video games, but sometimes with some friends who don't mind raunchy stuff, should not be an actual excuse, honestly. Brady crossed the line/boundaries. I just laughed when brady said "i'm on the autism spectrum" and never had cringed, face palmed, and gave the biggest sigh of relief about what brady said. I honestly wish nothing but the best for Robyn, Celeste, Elsie, and whoever else that I did not mention and who made robyn, elsie, celeste, and co and were, and still probably are, uncomfortable. I'm glad that I too, keep to myself, keep quiet, and just mind my own business. I hope there won't be any legal actions that need to be taken, but do take those legal actions if brady goes too far, robyn and co.

I know people with autism and they are not like this dude, not at all. One is a kid and he is aware of how far he can go without overstepping boundaries and when he does he is told apologizes and tries to improve so he doesn’t go far again but he’s a kid. For the record the back story for the Cancer character is to highlight and extend the metaphor of cancer affecting innocent people/victims. Your's is one of the most tunnel visioned uninspired interpretations of that character, though it is your own. That's fine. It is unfortunate that was your take away, but you should not go around acting like it's some objective fact. There isn't anything being "romanticized" there, except for you personally. The character is actually written pretty well for what it's trying to convey warped interpretations aside.

This reminds me of a co-worker I used to have who is on the spectrum. He would make so many people feel uncomfortable and sometimes even try to get into strangers cars while he was supposed to be working. There would also be times where he stalked my other coworkers outside of work especially the female coworkers. I wasn't aware of this until one night when I went to help some of them finish up their jobs for the day and they opened up to me about this guy's behavior and I was appalled after all they told me. All my female coworkers and I then reported this monster to a manager who agreed to help me and the other coworkers, and I decided to keep a close eye on that monster from that point on. Every time he was about to do something crazy I would instantly jump in and come to my other coworkers defense, but this guy never got the message. Me and my other co-workers would often tell him to knock it off with his behavior, but he never takes no for an answer and uses his autism as an excuse. I have friends who are autistic and definitely know right from wrong so hearing that made me mad. Me, my manager, and the other coworkers kept track of all the incidents that would happen with him and then report him to HR when we had enough evidence. Then one night while I was cleaning up the bathrooms, one of my female coworkers came up to tell me about something the guy did in the break room. I won't go into detail, but what he did crossed the line and that was enough evidence to take to HR and he got fired on the spot. It's been 5 months since then and everything has been much better without that creep around.

I know someone who's frightfully like this (constantly messing up and blaming their disorder/family instead of stopping). I don't even think they're on the spectrum. I think they're massive narcissists who can't think of anyone but themselves.

I have been a fan of your channel for a long time and I am also on the Autism Spectrum. I do not go after celebrities and harass them about things. Yes I try to be friendly the best I can but I do not harass them or threaten to hurt myself over no acknowledgement. The fact he is using his disorder as an excuse is unforgivable in my eyes. People with Autism, yes, have trouble with things but we understand boundaries. We should know we set those ourselves in public situations since we were kids. The fact he cannot understand the fathom of the harm he is giving and lies who he is is terrible. There are many of us on the Spectrum that want to show love and appreciation for our hyper fixations, but we learn to respect them and treat people with respect. Brady you need to stop. Full stop. Go get help.

Big loblve to everyone involved. I hope things don't escalate. I am pretty "high" on the spectrum myself, so I can some what sympathize with this guy, but that said you still have to respect boundaries and you can't blame all of your bad choices on being on the spectrum.

Until I find a better descriptor to "as someone with autism" I will use that term for the time being. But yes, as someone who was diagnosed at a young age. I do not see Brady's harassing messages in any way justifiable or reasonable. I've met several people on the spectrum from school to work to even social groups. Brady is unlike any high or low functioning autistic I've seen in my 20 years of living. (And in some cases I'm willing to believe he's lying about having autism, just to get a faux moral high ground in the conversation). And if it turns out Brady does have autism, his comment about not understanding social cues does not help his case. While I admit, many people on the spectrum do have trouble understanding social cues (myself included). We're not exactly blind from the consequences that follow afterwards. If my family had heard about a relative dying and then I make an obliviously rude comment. I would very much get yelled for that comment. I wouldn't know the exact reason, but I could very easily tell that I shouldn't do that again. I do feel sorry for Brady's condition, but his constant harassments has left him in a state of no forgiveness. I feel sorry for you Robyn, Elsie, Celeste or whoever was the epicentre of Brady's mad ramblings. I hope he either moves on or gets banned from the internet at this point.

Having to message someone for the sake of try to support them is one thing, doing 3 times if they didn’t respond within a couple days or so is another, getting blocked by said person for not stopping is another, but unauthorized use of contact info and self-harm threats just to do it, that is despicable! These actions might as well be one ticket to getting 5 years in prison. How do we suggest to anyone who wants to show support to the actors without being desparate for a response to the point of resulting to crime?

Don't know what's going on, and I don't know the person named Celeste, nor have I watched the show Meta Runner. All I can say is Celeste and Robyn are gonna need a restraining order and a taser in case something goes horrendously wrong cause this guy is major yikes! Oh God! I had a student with autism connect with me on linkedin and he has already contacted multiple female students. When he texted me, I yelled at him and we are not friends, I threatened to call the police. Thankfully he stopped.

Yeah the autism excuse doesn't quite sit right with me. I don't think I'm on the spectrum, but I have friends who are and while each person is different, they all know what's right and wrong. It sucks that you all are going through this, but you're handling it well. I hope that's the end of the situation and the start of something better for all of you.
