The number one thing I hate about aim assist is when I’m shooting an enemy player then another enemy player will cross over my crosshairs and my aim will then adjust to that player when I’m trying to finish the other enemy first. The crosshairs don’t know what to do when there is more one enemy in front of you. You feel like you have to drag your reticle

Very good tips there HD! This definitely would make a lot of us struggle, but like you said. You training that way, in game with the assist your shots would be very easy to hit.

UPDATE: they recently made bullet magnetism toggle-able in settings for controller. Perfect for training with bots who don't just run away from you.

this is interesting. i warm up with bots everyday before hopping in to ranked but i never thought about doing this. Definetly gonna start trying to do this because it does make a lot of sense. To be clear, it's got to be a ranked game in custom? Like lets say I make a Custom FFA, Ranked.. it turns off AA? I'll have to add this to my custom game practice map. Ranked is the key? I want to make sure I'm understanding this. I'm dense lol.

It's okay, I wasn't clear. Go into a custom game and pick ranked arena as the game mode within that custom game This have automatically turn on friendly fire Friendly fire being on means that you can kill your teammates. IE, friendly fire is enabled in rank. This is why you can team kill in ranked With friendly fire on and putting the bots on your team and thus you will not have any assist values added. I'm not sure if theres anti assist values on teammates but it's definitely much harder. You'll have to experience it yourself. Does this make sense?

if you're on controller then knowing how to use aim assist will be a bigger help than trying to aim manually because you'll end up defeating the aim assist trying to aim manually

@@HaloDaycare there’s a twitter thread on it. but anyone can now track the file browser and see how many times a public match is played on any of the maps. someone on twitter calculated it up and you can see the exact numbers and percentage of people playing. some days it’s a little under 100k but it averages around to high 90k-100k. but the average that was taken was from a week ago so numbers could be different this week

I think if the controllers didn't have assist that pulls crosshair to head after shield pop, aim assist would be more even for MnK and controller fights. The high level controller strafe is hard to shoot on MnK... On counter strike and games with low TTK (Tactical slayer) I think MnK is advantaged but not in halo. if MnK was OP we would have more pros using it but there's only one. Even 343 said they know aim assist is OP on controller and I think most devs play on controller. When I strafe its rare that I make a controller miss in halo, but with Counter strike I can make MnK players miss all the time with strafe. ---currently 200 hours in MnK halo Plat 5 and climbing. I started on controller as a kid with halo and cod 5,000 plus hours but I fell in love with MnK as I got older and played thousands of hours in CS:GO.
