Bill Dance hook set, he always said you have the most power right at your chest, like opening a jar of mayonnaise 😂 Croc spots, never had them lol. Always fun hanging with the fam on the boat! @@ILLBEDRONED Thanks for your support brother DanO! Bill wasn’t lying!! He could catch fish on those private stocked ponds with the best of em LOL!! Bill Dance is almost as legendary as Wes 😎 Saturday mornings with Dad watchin Bill Dance, Hank Parker, Orlando Wilson, Roland Martin…all the guys. Man what great memories. I gotta admit tho…when Al Linder and his Lund fishin boat came on it was time for me to go outside n play….not a fan haha. The best memories made were when Dad “taped” the shows cuz we were out on the boat fishin ourselves. Take care bro. Hope your rib doing better and you have a fantastic weekend 👊🏼

Thanks John! These fish are coming out ready for tartar sauce if they stay up on the flat in that hot water. Gotta be ready to change presentations and move into the deeper channels. Down here we can’t fish “spots” we have to fish conditions and those change daily. Tide, weather, water clarity/temp etc play so many factors into where the fish may be. Hope y’all have a great weekend.

Finding cooler water paid off. That pier was a nice spit. At least no one was pinched by crabs, it had no pinchers! Good day, folks.
@fishing4dinner2 ай бұрын
@@DpuckFishingandOutdoors Thanks Dpuck! That crab was booking it for the deeper cooler water - trying to tell us something haha. Midsummer days down here in Texas get ‘reel’ hot on the flats which are less than 2’ deep - the trick is to find the guts and boat channels where the 5-7’ water is. That’s where the fresher/cooler water is more concentrated from the tide changes. Texas just narrowed our slot limit and took away 2 from from our daily limit. We weren’t playing for keeps that day but if we were, we’d have filled the box! Was 5 fish 15-25” & could keep one over 25. As of spring 2024 it’s now 3 fish 15-20” but can keep 1 over 30”….crazy shtuff. As long as they limit the sharks and dolphins I don’t care what the limit is 😎

@@HenriVineFishing Yooo thanks Henri! Moved to GP from another brand for at Christmas time and I love it….zero regrets. Only issue I’m having is learning when it’s recording and not. After this trip I enabled the beeps so hopefully that’ll help. I always kept the beeps disabled on the other brand and had a little systematic routine…just gotta create new muscle memory is all. Man our bay system down here is so shallow (1-2’) so the water gets super hot in the summer! The secret is fishin the deeper channels and boat lanes where the tide is bringing in cooler water from the gulf 🤙🏼😎🤙🏼

White rubber boots 👍 Definitely a great point to check your line n re-tie. I see it all the time with fishermen’s line breaking after catching several. Nice job of finding the trout! Neuralyzer 😂 wait…..I forgot what I was doing 🤣. Great video Marc👊

@@bogolyskeepingitreel Thanks Chris! Checking line and knots is too easy to neglect, although hard to do when they’re biting like chow dogs. When these specs are schooling it’s almost every cast a fish and ya gotta keep em fed or they’ll move on. Live shrimp catches all of em but when we target the bigger girls (20-30”) we’ll tie on baitfish lures. The live bait guys hook on a croaker although I don’t care much to fish w them

Carson with the "This one's for you Darcey", call out LOL! The catfish queen. Bill Dance is hilarious. I used to watch his show back then. I have an Olukai tan line on my feet. That's all I wear 99% of the time. Nice trouts!

@@tommytsadventures haha thanks Tommy! I got a kick outta that too I haven’t tried olukai flops yet. I’ve had reefs for 15 years or more so I have a similar white V stripe atop my feet. Have some olukai boat shoes for the casual thing n man those are soooo comfy. This is an infamous spot in our area. When the fish are there, they’re stacked….when they’re gone, it’s crickets.

Be glad you still have trout there Marc....That fishery has been destroyed in Florida!! You mentioned the water temp being too high.....I'm having to fish only spring fed creeks where the water temp is below 85 degrees otherwise I'd be getting skunked in all the traveling I've been doing!!😎

@@DCOutdoors for sure, this was 100% user error. Some of it was camera not recording, other half because I deleted a TON of footage.
