Chainring clearance? I didn't see it on their site.

I had the same question and here’s the response: “Chainring should be able to go up to 38 at 53mm chainline, maybe 42 if using a 55mm (Sram Transmission compatible) chainline.”

@RideYearRound Awesome, thanks for the reply.

So, my new goal for my bike collections is to have 3 types of bikes, in 4 frame different frame materials each. Gravel, fat, and hardtail bikes, in carbon, aluminum, steel and titanium. I have the carbon and aluminum covered and just ordered a Lynskey GR300 to start down my titanium frames path. This bike looks like it will fit my riding style very well, with a shorter reach and a tall stack, and not cost an arm and a leg for the frame. I'll have to look into this company a bit more. There's so many smaller frame makers out there, it's hard to keep track of them all. Thanks for the video, man!

I reviewed their Gordita fat bike which is great. They also worked with Steve from Hardtail Party on the Maniak which is more of a trail hardtail.

@@RideYearRound I'll go back and find the video of the Gordita. I don't recall if I've seen that, or not. I haven't looked real hard at titanium fat bikes yet, but I know the RSD Mayor is on the short list, due to how much you mention it. Thanks again.

Great review. Looking at the bikepacking forward mounts and room for a frame bag, I kinda wish the Kinetik was superboost so it could fit 27.5x3.8's like the RSD Sergeant. Or maybe I just wish the Sergeant had the mounts and space of the Kinetik. There's a happy medium in there somewhere....

Ah yeah I see what you mean. The Sergeant is much more “traily” (longer travel, slacker front end, short rear) than the Kinetik.

Jones Spaceframe when?
@anotheryoutuber_Ай бұрын
its great, i waited forever to buy mine cause its expensive, but i probably would of saved more by just getting one instead of all the others, as i kept swapping stuff around and hoping i could duplicate its feel for less, i definitely got some neat frankenbikes out of all the playing and some were close but its really a sum of the parts kinda thing making it so special.

What was the water bottle cage you had on the tube?

Thanks for this review. You mentioned you had a 29 x 3.25 tire in the front fork - did you happen to try a 29 x 3.25 in the rear? Or is 3.0 really the maximum it will accommodate? Secondly, I see they also offer this as a Pinion compatible frame. What are your thoughts on that?
@RideYearRoundАй бұрын
I posted a short video about this. It technically clears enough to spin without rubbing, but it's so close I wouldn't recommend it.

Do they make a rigid fork?
@RideYearRoundАй бұрын
Not as a production part, but they do offer some customization so maybe reach out to them and see what they can do!

Or you could have just bought a complete Jones bike for about the same price.

Yes and no…if you want suspension then Jones isn’t an option. And as much as I love my LWB, there are still times where I want suspension haha.
