looks pretty close to a GT Avalanche/Zaskar/Pantera from 5ish years ago, the triple trainge design as well as the floating seatstay will always remain an iconic design statement from the Brand. the compliance is undeniable. but I like the additional touches binary made, just with a way more practical setup (Extra bottle bosses, external cable routing, super wide tire clearance.) love to see you run this with a Wren Fork

A Wren is exactly what’ll be going on it (at some point haha). I agree though on the floating stays making the bike ride so smooth, especially with titanium in the mix.

Thanks for the first ride impressions, looking forward to the suspension fork setup review. The geometry of these types of bikes are all converging on similar numbers. Binary Havok, Salsa Cutthroat, and Esker Lorax all fit this short reach, tall stack model. I prefer flat bar/alt bar configuration to drops as the geometry and upright position suit my long, mixed terrain riding and lower back flexibility limitations.

Good observation! I feel like bike design just went through a big evolution and we're going to see each discipline settle on the similar geo numbers across each brand. The Lorax is one I'd love to get my hands on at some point.

Good to see a Travers Prong fork! He's a top bloke Michael Travers, and they have their own range of Titanium fat bikes (The Bat Fastard, lol) I can also definitely see a set of those Jones carbon rims in my shed at some point as well... Excellent stuff!

I had never heard of them until he reached out about this fork. Also I'd for sure consider the jones rims if you're into extra wide tires.

Man they make really nice stuff there at Binary….beautiful frame.

Yeah they're definitely good looking bikes!

Seems to be similar to that Corvus Crow Pass you reviewed. I think this niche of “in between” gravel and 29 mid plus rigid Mtn bikes, is a sweet spot. I really like how Jone’s has made frames and forks on thier own terms but would be interested on how this bike did with that scarce 100mm travel fork. As for Rigid forks, Wren has a carbon fork that can use 12mm axle gravel hubs but also converts to the long forgotten 100x15 axle if you happen to have some old Mtn hubs or first gen gravel bike hubs.

The Crow Pass leans more drop bar than mountain bike (shorter fork, lower stack, etc) but it does have a lot in common otherwise. This is boost spacing and I’m actually planning on using a Wren suspension fork adjusting the 110 travel down to 100.

Hello! Is there any winter fat tires you would recommend that is around 2"-3" wide? For 26" thanks!

How long have you had the EDS OX? How much was it? Was it hard to find the one offering the removable battery option? How much do those bars add to stem length?
@RideYearRoundКүн бұрын
It was sent to me to review and this was the very first ride on it. I didn't mention anything about it because it's going to be it's own video, but I figured someone would ask what it was haha. Right now it's listed for $359 on sale and is normally $479. The battery isn't removable. The bars don't add anything to the stem length, they line up pretty much in line with a typical flat bar. I have a review on that if you're interested.

Kind of looks like one of the Carver bikes.

Thanks for sharing such valuable information! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
