been browsing and the album artwork is either stolen, stolen and poorly photoshopped over or a very wonky sketch that looks like it was rushed and put on a neon background in 20 minutes. what do these artists have against commissioning people to make the covers? I've seen absolute beginners with anatomy and linework issues make far better looking drawings when they really get passionate about it. They always have character and amazing concepts in them. Actually maybe these people shouldn't commission artists and just stick to AI because they seem like the type of person to scam them out of $60 and maybe their "original" album covers are traced when i really think about it

The average virtualized server is going to have less storage than a non-virtualized one. A server made to serve media (e.g. movies, series, videos, videogames) is going to need a LOT more storage than one made to serve multiplayer data for a video game.

Mahou Shoujo means magical girl and, while a magical girl can be a woman, most magical girls in anime (including in Madoka Magica, which the song seems to be referencing with the contract stuff) are around 12-15 years old. This makes sense given that the genre is usually aimed at young girls (with some exceptions such as Madoka), but it makes the idea of sexualising magical girls as a whole really creepy.

I remember hearing this guy featured on a bunch of Moe Shop tracks, and he's part of this whole little slice of late 2010s "Let's semi-ironically rap about Anime and Hentai" subculture, mixed in with Future Funk aesthetics. You could put a bunch of people in same category, including some Vtubers, but i think most of these people have either moved on or have just stopped because, this really is a novelty that's only appealing to hardcore weeabos. If you didn't understand the lyrics and just listened to the flow and instrumental you could maybe trick yourself into thinking it's alright but after a while, there's not much to gain from this. Some things are just better left in the past.

i'm sure everyone's said this by now, but technically, "shoujo" does mean "young girl", usually with the context of preteens-early teens. the reason people are saying it means "magical" is because he prefaces it with the word "mahou" pretty often; the phrase "mahou shoujo" does mean "magical girl" and it specifically refers to a genre where teenage girls get magical powers (think sailor moon). while one could point to examples of the mahou shoujo genre starring adults, the specific mention of "contracts" is referencing madoka magica, a magical girl show where the entire conflict revolves around the fact that the main characters are middle school girls. so, yeah, shoujo contract is creepy on several levels!

“Mahou Shoujo”, which he references specifically means “Magical Girl” which is a genre of anime and manga(most famous of which is prolly Sailor Moon. Most of the scouts are first year in high-school) where the girls are almost always in middle school. Its not necessarily perverted, as usually their intended audience is.. well 10-14 year old girls. But grown men also watch these shows with… other intentions, and they illustrate their own fantasy stories about the child characters which involve… activities. And make the kids often look even younger than they look in the show.
@Zabe_B2 жыл бұрын
you do realize ppl were grossed out because the lyrics about mahou shoujo specifically say she's "doing magic in bed" or something. it's not because of what the focus of the genre is, it's because the song is specifically about sexualizing that genre.

Take this as you will. Edit: just checked the song description, yep, the first verse was Shiki and not H3ntai dude meaning he wasn't the one who said the N-word.
