I think a good reason why so many white rappers are hot ass is because they often take criticism as though it's a slight against their skin. Artists that observe the complex social situation and use their observations as catalysts for actions like digging holes and aiming to pander to a demographic like white supremacists rather than race abolitionists should be ignored at every step and not fed like trolls. Troll feeding ultimately makes fun of everyone involved.

@@FlipDaMushroom02 is he a citizen? But more what I’m saying is that he talks in his songs like he’s lived in America all his life. Regardless, ‘being proud of being an American citizen’ is a misleading characterization of the rhetoric he engages in
@FlipDaMushroom022 жыл бұрын
@@orangesya7649 Yes, he's resided in the U.S. for a long time now (not sure specifically how long, but it's significant). Also, most people who lived in other countries and moved to another tend to be proud of the country they now moved to. Someone can come from Portugal and then reside in Spain later in their lives, all while being proud of becoming a Spanish citizen. You're looking way too deep into that concept by saying "it's misleading".
@orangesya76492 жыл бұрын
@@FlipDaMushroom02 all of his talk is just talk. It’s all a grift. It’s fine to move somewhere and be proud of it, but all of his music is so obviously meant to get outrage clicks and Facebook shares rather than actually putting out good music. @FlipDaMushroom022 жыл бұрын
@@orangesya7649 I'd honestly call Tom more center-right. Almost all of his political tracks are basically "look at the media and elites dividing people, there should be unity" or "look at the hypocrisy of modern culture today" with the most basic bars in his catalogue. I wouldn't say it's "alt-right". I will say though, making ten songs with the same topics each year is definitely a genius business move on his end.
