I remember a Pocket Edition mod (this was pre-Bedrock) that allowed you to change biome colors by tapping grass with dye, and the colors would carry over if you loaded the world into vanilla MCPE. Cool to see the radical grass making a comeback!

If it went over the integer limit, it would probably act like this; If the value was integer+1, it would act as 1. If it were integer+2, it would act as 2. And if it were integer+integer+1, it would act as 1. It will act as the number you get from subtracting integer from value, until you can't subtract it anymore without getting a negative number.

Something similar to this glitch happened on a very old version of pocket edition (version 0.9.0 or 0.10.0). Pretty much theres a chance for savanna biomes to glitch out and grass and leaves will appear white, gray, purple, or black. The difference is, it only happens on savannas. The biome is apparently called a "G Savanna" or "Glitched Savanna".

This reminds me of a similar bug that happened to Pocket Edition way long ago, before they even unified as Bedrock. All the grass was rainbow colored on old worlds from previous updates, and sometimes it even destroyed chunks.

This effect is pretty normal and we can see this in real life, when you watch tv on small angle. In that all colors will be strange like with -1 value, but when you watch tv in this position and picture on it will fade out to be black, you will see exactly effect from -2 to -15 values

The reason is because rgb values are likely looped when negative and thus the colours are shifted from the regular blend

Yeah, the negative number will force the color scale to revert to the max (255) 8 bit value since the color scale can only use unsigned integers.

the lighting glitch happens all the time in bedrock, normaly at random. to make it happen faster, use world edit, and make a giant roof above water.

I have encountered something very similar to this in MCPE before. I was messing with the /effect command and used 255 speed and was running around everywhere when I noticed that one of the chuncks had become all mis-colored. It could have been patched though because I have not seen it since then.
