i absolutely adore the yapping sessions, when i was young (about 10 or 11 years old im currently 23) i didn’t had any friends in school or outside of it so in my free time i used to watch a lot of minecraft videos, specially the ones from a youtuber that often would talk and tell different stories about his life during gameplay (these vids had a length of about 45 to 1 hour) so i would lay in bed while watching and listening with all of my attention, sometimes sleep got me while watching so i would pause the video, sleep a bit and when i woke up i would continue watching it this was at the time people would make fun of you for liking minecraft even tho i was a child and that's the public the game is for, so I usually watched these videos hiding from everyone and not telling anyone i did so after 13 years i find myself doing exactly the same, i enjoy a good yapping

The whole overthinking thing, i relate so much, im needing meds to contain mine sadly, there's ways to cope but everything i've tried hasn't helped so im now getting meds lol but aye, best thing to do, distraction can be good, getting reassured even if it means asking more than once, and then writing 5 things down that are minor negatives, turn them into a positive and focus on the positive things, it's helped me. Also your vids are amazing been looking forward to this :D

As someone who also overthinks a lot, I love my friends to death. They can usually tell when something's wrong and are always willing to reassure me unasked. Hell, it gets me overthinking sometimes that I'm too overwhelming of a friend, but I know they're doing this out of their own will and kindness. Friends are absolutely incredible and overthinking can fuck all the way off. :3

I have anxiety similarly and getting diagnosis (as you said autism being one) it made major improvements to my life after getting be support I needed. Mostly because I overthink it too, have a small social battery and sometimes likes to throw you a social curveball, but over the past couple years I've stumbled into making a good group of buddies. Also coming back to this as someone with Autism and ADHD, it's only ever good to get tested for things. I've had my autism diagnosis for around 15 years now and it's only given me the tools to accommodate myself, learn how to adapt. But when I got tested for ADHD ( and scored REAL high on that test), a whole part of my life changed. For the better honestly, both knowing and having the medication to keep me tethered to the here and now. So no shame mate, it doesn't change who you are, just gives you the tools to live better. Same thing applies to trauma (PTSD in my case) and getting help. Having a therapist or at least people to talk to. To share the burden. 🧡
