Those potion dudes looked extremely familiar, so I tried to remember what they looked like.... it's Silas. Silas, the AB+ modded character. Silas, the mod from 2017. Silas, the potion thrower dude that you should play this mod with. No clue if it's compatible. I'd love to see him back.

My most memorable experience with this mod so far was when I was playing Tarnished Lost. I had beaten Hush, WITH ISAAC'S HEART, and then went up and beat Isaac. I entered the Chest, and used my Divine Remnants to break my own Mantle for the next several rooms, which upgraded the four Chest items (cuz I'm a greedy bastard who never learns to play it safe). So I, mantleless, but with three really really great items, went into the first room. If I cleared a few rooms safely, I'd get my Mantle back. But this room was a WACKY FIEND FOLIO PUZZLE ROOM, and I had no idea what was going on, but was able to safely solve the puzzle. I then said to myself, "PHEW, now let's get onto some NORMAL roo- WHAT THE HELL," because I had walked into the next room, which was a LARGE room, instantly killed four of the green bottle heads that were way over on the opposite side of the room, so they launched their heads at me before I realized I had even killed them and then I died. It was hilariously timed, so I wasn't all that mad.

I really enjoyed the mid-game breaks to showcase some of the items, honestly a great decision to combat the fact that you didn't encounter a lot of things from the actual mod in the run

0:38 You actually CAN get out of the Curse Room without getting reducing your healthy full Soul Heart to a nasty Half a Soul Heart. All you need to do is to use empty chests to push Soul Hearts next to the Spiky Exit, get hurt by spikes or fire or even the Spiky Exit itself (be careful not to accidentally exit out of the Curse Room), pick up the nearby Soul Heart(s) and bolt out the Curse Room using I-Frames. It can be a bit tricky the first time but it gets easier with practice! (Or a few speed ups lol)

Maggy and dim bulb will always remind me of one run I had. I accidentally hit the sacrifice room spikes one too many times, and got teleported to the dark room, and all I had was dim bulb and 9 lives from the curse room. And I managed to beat the game :D I got lucky rooms, but I still died on the way to the lamb, so I had to kill it without taking damage with only dim bulb for stats. Surprisingly, it is a pretty easy boss

You can easily smuggle perfection to the chest. Just drop it at the start of new floors and remember to grab it at the end

honestly just curious why you don't give yourself black candle at the start if you're trying to show of a mod/new stuff, then take away the black heart. it'd just be so much nicer for everyone (including you) to be able to see the stuff going on, cuz i couldn't physically see the new enemy in the cathedral in that one room since you had curse of darkness and so much was happening. you'd also be able to choose the new things if you had multiple choices and one of them came up
