hey hutts! mod suggestion, the encyclopedia mod adds a way to see what all items you have do, you navigate through your inventory in a very intuitive manner, and it shows some synergies and the item description so you can read whenever you need any info!

This character is actually pretty fun if you can actually use the rerolls you get, kind of like a messed-up Isaac with how you can stack up multiple dice shards in your pocket. That Cat's Pearl pickup was just an unfortunate knowledge check, really; don't EVER take 1 cent items from shops while playing Bael.

Even something super powerful like Ipecac can be a run killer before you learn how to use it or if you pick it up blind and you have the wrong build. So it's not necessarily an indictment of the whole mod that basically picking up one blind item made the rest of this run unplayable for Hutts.

I assure you that Bale can actually be very strong of a character pretty often, it's just a gamble really. Also, High Luck is extremely good with Bael as most of the Cursed Cat's Items good effects rely on it.

hutts i love your vids, and i hate to see you not growing as much as you should. im guessing part of the problem is youtube not pushing you to new people but id also saying your thumbnails are hard to understand from a glance. on this video i can kinda read the BAEL in the top right but i also had to look for it. the thumbnail art is always great but with a picture of you on the side it feels like a information overload in one small picture i first saw on my phone... which compressed it even more.

Aw, i like Bael... I think some of your other mods were messing you up. But i agree that the cat items are mostly cancer. But you missed Cat Sacred Heart... which gives you minus three health on taking it up, but has otherwise the same effects of Sacred Heart... oh, and it might drop again each time you get damaged. Yes, you must take it every time. Yes, the minus three health happens each time. Yes, it will kill you.

HUTTS! DUDE, you have to check out Doomsday Hunters, its a roguelike that took 9 years to develop, and it's getting a massive update soon with 100+ items and more biomes etc. They are adding mod support in the near future, I think you will be amazed at how good it is. I think it could be the next binding of isaac, it runs like a dream even on a potato and it looks gorgeous, you could single handedly give it the exposure it deserves. Don't sleep on this game! It has many characters, synergies, etc just like isaac and it plays silky smooth like gungeon. It's like if you mixed gungeon mouse controls, with boi synergies and items, secrets etc, with gorgeous 2.5D isometric graphics. JUST DO IT!
