Go watch the Arma 2 version, its called Window Of Opportunity. You select 2 factions and a map on a menu and play RTS Arma 2, build buildings to make tanks, upgrade them etc just like a normal RTS

this 100% should be part of the base game in reforger/4 they're missing out on a whole other market here, especially if they can somehow integrate it into multiplayer operations, imagine an enemy faction controlled by a player commander/zeus, endless potential

@@lasdz941 Call to Arms is only good to buy Gates of Hell, now that's a good one. CTA was dissapointing. There's a new game called Broken Arrow coming out that's modern day and you can customize EVERY unit. Go look it up, it looks incredible.

Yes, you can use it in any mission, you just need to access Zeus mode.

Seriously about to reinstall ARMA 3 to try this. I like Combat Mission, but really want something newer that can simulate modern conflicts. Can squads be controlled as a single entity rather than each man individually (like Company of Heroes)?

Yes, the squad or fireteam is normally controlled as a single entity, but you can divide it up or use the planning mode to give individual orders when you want. Also keep in mind that I'm still actively developing the mod and there's a big update coming up, follow me so you won't miss it when it comes out.
