the reason why it was so hard to take on the infected mobs even with really good armor is because the mod creator stated that it is intended that you act and prepare quickly before it gets out of hand. so yeah, unlike most other infection mods where it starts off weak, this one goes right for the stronger parts instead. it was actually way severe in the previous version as mobs did not despawn

I tested this mod with the fungal infection spore mod. Remember how it was the most powerful infection mod? The flesh mod killed three hive minds before the spore could even start

I've tried the flesh that hates with from another world and... it was unfair for both sides tbh. On one side, since the flesh creatures don't give any debuffs to the things, the things just kept on regenerating to the point that they were just superior to the flesh creatures. On the other hand when I made it so the effect "One of us " prevented the things from regenerating, the things just kept on running away and not fighting back. I think it's obvious that those two mods aren't made to fight each other, but still it was cool to watch.If Karat makes a battle between all the infections, I would say that the flesh that hates,creatures would easily kill other infection mods but have a massive problem with from another world infection.

@@effortless4588 Pretty much since the flesh creatures might do a lot of damage but they have very low hp. But when i said they would clap any other infection mod apart from the other world i didn't include srp do to what you just said. Also the only reason I think they would beat the other infections (apart from FAW and SRP) it's because of them having a creature named "flesh community" which corrects the other flesh creatures by having ton of damage and hp which can to up to 1k and beyond it.

​@@issholland Sculks kinda different. Crimsom Consumes everything Organic around it to have it grow. Kinda like if you sit on a Chair for weeks your skin will start to grow over the chair slowly. Sculk doesent eat Organic things to spread, instead Sculk eats Souls aka Exp to spread. Ill also mention Terrarias Corruption Doesent do either one of these. Corruption is a Bacteria that infects and multiplies itself over and over again untill it covers everything. Hallowed biome is bit different, Hallowed is in a way Sentient. Its somekind of a Bacteria like entity like with Corruption but in Hallowed's case its a Hivemind with one Goal, purify everything, doesent matter if its infected or not, if it isint pure it must be clensed.

SCP-610 is highly contagious being both airborne and uses physical contact as the means to spread the infection towards other organisms. They'll essentially assimilate into the flood way too fast before the flood could counter.

That’s actually a very good question… the flesh that hates (scp not mod) has some creatures that definitely don’t got any nervous systems, doesn’t require any physical interaction with said target besides a single touch to begin infection and sometimes doesn’t even fully control its victims it just immobilizes and fuses them together into a perpetual state of agony…. The flesh actually has a huge chance of winning that fight.

imagine one day, you could have a modpack where you have this mod infecting the world with the big wither boss from minecraft storymode, and you always have to be on the move, you can use valkyrie skies and sail a ship or jet or air boat, and use distant horizons with shaders in vr, with ai npcs that are sentient and villiagers are who they seem to be, have these unique each backstories and lore and do their heroic thing or sacrifice in love for the player, very innocent, and honorable sacrificial care for the player, imagine a villiager with a straw hat doing a music video in their voice and other villiagers sing in their voice in different voices and do a music video where they are singing this weird tacky song with acting out like a music video behind the scenes where the player isnt looking their doing something to protect the player, and then imagine after you beat the wither boss, then that can be the end of a modpack, of course thats a template, one could possibly add their own iteration of the main story line, but these ideas are very significant to consider, for a more cohesive, expansive, and logical addition to our beloved game

comparing this infection to the sculk horde, this one is by far harder! the sculk doesn't even start on world creation, it has a trigger that you need to find underground. but the flesh? that shit steps on the gas and never lets off. no matter how quickly i burn the flesh biome, it spreads faster than i can burn it! and even without the incubator, flesh still spreads out of control! i get that this mod is designed around the player actively fighting the incubators to keep it in check, but until you get the materials to craft the flesh compass (which point to the nearest active incubator) it really starts to spiral out of control. also, all of the flesh biomes in my world spawned near water, so now my oceans are being turned into puss. there is no easy way to get rid of puss in vanilla. this mod is not balanced at all, the "Flesh Community" entity that you fought (the one with 1024 hp(Which in my world had over over 4k health!)) that thing two shot you with max protection in another mods armour! and not just any other mod, bloody cataclysm no less! all the infection mods seem to be horribly balanced in my opinion.
