This is my advice for my 5e players when they get into theorycrafting. 100% agree looking at maximal level benefits level-by-level instead of the "finished" build that will likely be played for a single session or two, if we ever get there at all.

I wish it werent so fun to look at the things a final build can do lol. That theory crafting is suuuuper fun, and makes me wish they would release a "start from max level with everything scaled to level 12" mode so that we can have our overpowered fun. But definitely, looking at level by level and figuring out where the power spikes are and when to take multiclassed levels especially is so important.

I actually use this build right now in my honor run but i choose shadow monk. Duelist prerogative +1 reaction + riposte is cool, i also get mage slayer feat its pretty cool. Raphael fight is pretty easy, but Cazador fight is kinda hard since you need to light the whole room.

You have to assign yourself a role in the "#roles-start-here" channel! Assign yourself the "Baldurian" role and you will see all of the bg3 chat channels!
