Thich has such a soothing voice. A lot of Vietnamese and Thai peoples have this beautiful soft cadence to their voice. While I dont agree with budhism, I have loved Thich for years because of his service during the vietnam war, being a proponent for peace, and teaching many people how to handle their emotions and pains. @DeliahAyala.2.14.91.8 ай бұрын
@chloefinley5297 I'm born again. I don't believe we can save ourselves. I believe in the sacrifice of Chris and redemption through salvation. BUT a lot of Buddhist practices make sense and have overlap in Christianity. Meditative prayer is similar to Buddhist meditation, and there are some others that either overlap or are harmless and useful. But the main theology of Buddhism; there's no God, there's no heaven, there's just us and today.....that's atheism. Self reliance. There are places I cannot go and things I can not do without Christ. So I lean on christ. No disrespect to Thich, he's great
