"From Beyond The Grave" (1973) is scheduled again this year (Wed 10/30). Watched it for the first time last October. Four episodes and an epilogue. Excellent cast (very funny comic turn by Margaret Leighton) and direction (Kevin Connor). Thanks TCM. 😊.

I've learned a lot about Holly Walker who sings "Spooky" on the TCM promo. She was in a band named Maribou State but is now solo. I enjoy her ambiguous accent that sounds a bit like a Bond girl or a villainess. I, too, thought it was the lovely Dusty Springfield version of "Spooky," but realized the track was very different and much more contemporary. Her mood on this rendition is ideal for the Halloween concept of the TCM promo playing this month. She composes original material, but this cover seems to represent her well. Classic Film Fans, there will be a screening of Tyrone Power's Nightmare Alley on Thursday evening on the Classic film Movies Channel. TCM never played Nightmare Alley. Why couldn't TCM include MGMs underated Fingers the Window that combines Noir with Horror. This is a shame because Fingers at the Window hadn't played at TCM since 2010.

This version of Spooky is so inferior to the 1960s original version of Spooky by The Classics IV. The 1960s were a wonderful time for music, unlike modern versions of Classic Rock.

Unfortunately no - I assume it has to do with digital rights versus broadcasting rights. Even when you have cable and you stream off of their website the movies will sometimes only be available for a few days. Someday, hopefully.

Can you please remove all the virtue signaling disclaimers from your movies and in the descriptions that show up in the schedules? It’s very insulting, the majority of us are adults, not children. Just play the movie. You’re either doing it to preach or to cover your behinds.
