It's called check and it's called check mate if you can't go any where and your in check so technically you said mate even though it's not check mate the kid was screwed as soon as the guy killed his queen because he freaked out thinking he lost and that mad him off balance in his mind so he couldn't win any way because he didn't even think of the fact of getting a stale mate if you loose you queen it doesn't mean the game is over yet its only when you get in check mate or stale mate so never give up

This is why one needs to think before they move. A great chess player can play without his queen! This is why it's not too good to be too dependant on the queen. You can always promote a pawn, if you can get it to the 8th rank! In the end, if you're not playing for money, in the park somewhere. It's only a game! You win some and you lose some. As long as you enjoy playing, that's what really matters. Winning is fun, learning to lose well, makes any chess player, a better player.

The boy so desperate to flag his opponent (meaning making his opponent lose on time), that he broke the rules to do so. The man won because he successfully gave checkmate before he ran out of time, even after the boy broke the rules, although it wasn't clear because the boy undid the legitimate checkmating move.

It is just a classic mistake, when you really focus on your attack, and your eyes on the other player side. And then, you mess the defence by something hard. Noobs always fall in it. Pros maybe few times; because they are still humans, and humans can't stay good all the time, they should make some accidents and mistakes sometimes.
