I loved their interview after the matches, so friendly and so nice. I like the fact that Taba can create miraculous saves. His game with Yu Yangyi and how he saves the game in the preliminaries would be arguably the best showcase of hope for such young grandmaster and the spirit of fighting until the end. The white king will have to move from h1 or g2 (or block the check with his bishop) and then black can move the bishop and white can take the black knight with the rook if he wants but he'll be the exchange down.

Not a bad game. The move was quite easy to spot though and I am no more than 1759 (15 min c24). Wes idea was easy to spot as well. He just did not want to deviate from it. I think Magnus idea of allways playing the most uncomfortable idea for ur opponent should be law at this level. This way there is no idea. So it can't be spotted and you're not to obvious. Then all you have to be is genius at endgames.

It is unplayable at the GM level (even more so in classical, long time-control games). For club players (like me and you), it's not completely unplayable but for GMs it is. Also, the problem is that there are very few pieces on the board (so very hard to make a comeback). If it were the opening and I'm down a piece for a pawn (or even a rook for a pawn), it's not as bad as this ending.
