I loved their interview after the matches, so friendly and so nice. I like the fact that Taba can create miraculous saves. His game with Yu Yangyi and how he saves the game in the preliminaries would be arguably the best showcase of hope for such young grandmaster and the spirit of fighting until the end. That game was the real magic of chess.

Thanks for covering the tabatabaei game. Agad, you have so many fans in Iran, but because of filtering of youtube by the gov in Iran we use germany or US vpn and in statistics of youtube we considered as a american or any country than we use its vpn. we get so excited when you analyze a game from Firouzja, Maghsoodloo and.... good luck and thank you for your entertaining and useful content 💯💯

It is unplayable at the GM level (even more so in classical, long time-control games). For club players (like me and you), it's not completely unplayable but for GMs it is. Also, the problem is that there are very few pieces on the board (so very hard to make a comeback). If it were the opening and I'm down a piece for a pawn (or even a rook for a pawn), it's not as bad as this ending.
