You would think that Detroit, the home of Ford Motor Company would be the home for this museum, but it's not. Nestled in Auburn, Indiana is home for the Early Ford V8 Museum. This museum has some of the best early V8 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury cars cabs, buses, race cars, and trucks that I have ever seen under one roof. The automobiles are all in superb restored condition. I highly recommend a visit to this museum. It is a must see! You can find out more by visiting their website at fordv8foundati...
When I am not making images for my normal (if there is such a thing) bodies of work as a photographer, I make plenty of fun videos for my Model A or other related videos from that time period that you can find on this channel too. Be sure to check them out.
You can find my I Fix It Merchandise here kensmithgaller...
As to gear, I shoot a variety of full frame Nikon cameras and lenses. Most everything is shot on a tripod to produce the sharpest images possible.
You can see more about me and my photography at my website here www.kensmithga...

My 1930 Ford Town Sedan has eyebrow fenders and still has the original interior. It's certainly worn but it still is functional. I have rebuilt the driveline, suspension, and tie rods, installed a modernized Model A motor with oversized intake valves, insert bearings, and a high compression head. I also have a lightened flywheel and V8 clutch. The car comfortably cruises at 50MPH but I've had it up to 60MPH. I have also insulated and installed sound deadener which has made the car enjoyable to be in even at 90 degrees.

My wife and I visited this museum a year ago this week! We also discovered it a bit by accident while on the way to the ACD Museum in town.

Another museum to put on my list of 'places to go'!! I really like museums. Two in St Augustine if you get down here. The Lightner Museum and the Villa Zorayda. Both on the same road! Plus many other points of interest. The Castillo de San Marcos is near by, and a Ripply's museum too! Okay, enough tooting my own horn here. People might go deaf from my sour notes. Ha! Thanks for the walk through!

I found out about it from a tip from one of my KZbin followers who met me at Model A Days. I told him I was heading to the ACD Museum and he told me I had to see this one. Great museum too!

Its too bad they wouldn't let you open some hoods. Id love to see a Model A roadster w/a V-8 sitting in it.

On the video, at 12:16, shows the dash. The video is shot from the passenger side and it’s somewwhat blurry, but it looks like a 41 dash.
