This band is definitely growing on me. I like how they're not afraid to experiment, and to put it all out there. (Great guitar work too, and perfect cymbal-splash fills!)

You use the word genius in your other reactions to them, and I think I agree. Their songwriting keeps getting better, they keep it fresh and keep us guessing about what the next song will be like, and each time they nail it with excellent musicianship. You've listened to three good examples of how wide their scope is. Another study in contrasts would be "City", in your face punkish, and "For Us, For Me", which has them in evening gowns, starting sultry and jazzy and rocking out. I think you'd really like those. Cheezyxyz did a double reaction to two of their songs, I don't know if you do that, but it really showcases their diversity. 😀

I shared this Sixters MV a bit ago to all my many friends. So that was twice then. But the joy of really good music is when the artist is having fun. What spoils great music is the endless debate about is it as good as the last one etc etc. When we should just enjoy it for what it is. The Sixters look as if they just enjoy what they do and are having fun doing it. Like many of my favourite bands their enjoyment is passed on to the listener/watcher. Fun and tongue in cheek. Plus great music.

Exactly! Part of what makes their music so good is that they really enjoy what they're doing, or if it's a softer song, they put their hearts into it. They are REAL.

Interestingly I was on the stream when you did this and recalled the TV-break and how interesting a concept it was but had completely forgotten about it and had shocked appreciation again - I too very much like the diversity within this band, waiting for them to do an album with a single track mathy prog side.

For example, covering White Snake, Eric Johnson, Pink Floyd, White Lion, Maneskin, modern jazz, classical, and improvising complex hammer ons/offs with complicated arpeggios without breaking a sweat. She pulls off these incredible riffs without even looking at the fretboard! The Sixsters haven't even begun to use her skills. Wow, what a guitar player.

Missed this on stream but knew you would like it. They recently announced their albums are finally going to be available on vinyl. No word on when, but I have a feeling they will be added to your collection.

First track on the To Be Continued album and what a banger, it has the other two tracks you have reacted to and some other cracking tracks like For Us, For Me and Never Forgive. Love this band and considering they are still aged between 15 and 19 I guess they will only get better.

Anna's social media indicated she was 19 two years ago, her birthday was at the end of last December, so that matches what I heard from someone that she's now 21.
