Great video! I didn’t realize how important birds were until I planted our backyard garden and they help out so much with the garden pests… plus, they’re fun to watch. I know there’s a lot of native plants that I can still add to our backyard even though I live in the desert and have an HOA. 🌻 Thank you for sharing!

I’ve learned so much from you! Please if you feel so led, put together a course about how to design your farm with perennials and native plants. How to lay it all out so it works.

What a wonderful space! Have you done any earthworks, like swales, to help with water retention and absorption?

Wasps. Wasps are amazing assasins of pests. I've seen wasps carring off catepillars, beetles, even grasshoppers.

Great video Bri! So excited to see the final reno video, I’m sure you are ready to get back into your own home! Question…do y’all have snakes on your farm? I’m in SC and copperheads and water moccasins are the absolute worst and prevent me from doing any ground cover plants….I'm even careful with my mulching. I’m scared of getting bit or one of my fur babies or friend’s kiddos gettting bit by one. Poisonous snakes and gardening do not mix!

Helpful information. You may start with weeds, but you design beautiful gardens over time. The gardens near the house could grace a magazine cover. I appreciate how you demonstrate the steps you take,, demystifying what seems an impossible project.

I enjoy your content. I recommend reading about black walnut and how it can suppress and even kill certain vegetables and fruit trees. I found out too late and have lost two established apple trees after I let a volunteer black walnut grow and mature near an orchard.

I love your tours! How would you recommend getting rid of poison ivy? I am hoping to get rid of it as naturally as possible since it’s in a wooded area

My Granny and my Mamma grew up eating off the land, esp in Early spring when greens were hard to come by. Creases, Polk salad, ramps. Miss that stuff!
