This Neglected Yard Really Needed Some Help | Garden Transformation

Right, ok then. What we have here is a failure to properly maintain a backyard.
This customer is another one of our regular mows, and during her last mow I noticed that the side area of her rear yard was a bit of a shambles. She is using this side part as a dog run and what looks to be a place to sun bake or read when setup with the hammock. I thought that I could make the area a bit nicer for her and her dogs, and hopefully get some good content for you guys along the way. All up, the job took me about 3 hours to complete, and I took out around a quarter trailer of green waste.

A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Very nice cleanup, George. Good to see others that neaten up by disposing of debris and cleaning as they work through the yard work. I did it that way when I was a LOT younger cleaning up after renters had vacated premises or just couldn't do it themselves. Learned the hard way in not leaving debris for continued days cleaning of property Kids, pets and Mother Nature have a way of redistributing what you had previously gathered up. KUDOS! That came out nicely George. As you near the end of your winter, these little spring cleanups will put you in great shape for the warmer days ahead. Thank you for adding the comments. As a person who does office work, it’s nice to see why a lawn care specialist hard trims an area. I typically chalk it up to, you know the plants in your area and you know what you’re doing. great cleanup. I dont blame the owner for wanting to keep the pots, they are so expensive. she can clean them out of weeds and grass and put in ""kitchen scraps"" ripe tomatoes, potatoes with eyes, onion ends, lettuce ends, etc and have an awesome veggie herb garden in pots

Appreciate your comments today, as the bulbs cut back will recover and the geranium needing a hard-prune. 7:24, a nice level of neatness appearing already. Under Landscape Archeology, at 17:17, the "reappearance" of a hidden structure, that you would have known of, was a bit startling. It looked, from one view, like a shrub. Things can hide in overgrowth, or in this case, perhaps deliberate covering with a plant. Calm finished improvement to the whole area, in appearance and serenity.
