nice video! i noticed you were not using a loop knot, is that better for the yo-zuri popper? i just bought one but have never used it

I don’t find them necessary on poppers, but do use them on walk the dog action lures and other top water lures. Thanks for watching!

Not on small inshore lures. You can use trolling weights or planers when fishing offshore for pelagic species.
